We would like to introduce our new Urology Nurse Practitioner.
Nikki Blackburn is from Cheyenne, Oklahoma where she and her husband, Tucker, raise their two daughters. Nikki received her Bachelors in Science Nursing from Southwestern Oklahoma State University in 2016. She spent the majority of her bedside nursing career in the Intensive Care Units of Integris. Nikki then received her Family Nurse Practitioner degree from Texas Woman’s University in 2022. She is board certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Nikki serves western Oklahoma at Urology Associates in ElK City. Her clinical interests are in: female pelvic floor dysfunction, pessary management, and complicated urinary tract infections.

Stress incontinence occurs when urine leaks due to sudden pressure on the bladder, often during activities like coughing, sneezing, or exercise. It's the most common type of urinary incontinence, especially in women, and is often linked to weakened pelvic floor muscles.
