We’re excited to welcome Matthew Delacruz, MD, to Hugh Chatham Health - Family Medicine Residency! A Durham native, Dr. Delacruz earned his medical degree from East Carolina University and completed his undergraduate studies at UNC Chapel Hill. When he’s not caring for patients, he enjoys rock climbing, dancing, and playing video and board games.

We’re excited to welcome Ifeoma Onyia, MD, to Hugh Chatham Health - Family Medicine Residency! Dr. Onyia earned her medical degree from the University of Medicine and Health Sciences in St. Kitts. Originally from Southern Nigeria, she has called Charlotte, North Carolina home for the past 13 years. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her three daughters, listening to music, singing and gardening.
