WE DID IT ! We are back to the east side of the states !

From Washington we got one short load going south - just 150 miles for $200

Then we got a load going from Boise Idaho to Indiana - miles for pick up and loaded miles together 2100 miles for ….

For…

For …

$1200 🙈

Those rates are not sustainable …

Good thing we have very little expenses

Good thing my husband knows a bit of the mechanics

Good thing our kids are on their own

Good thing we love this lifestyle

But all together it came to around $.80 per mile … we made 5000 miles round trip for $4000 in 9 days

And the best part we had an amazing day and 2 nights at Boise National Forest on our way for pick up !

First night we slept at the wild camping spot with no cellphone reception but surrounded with animals bones 🦴 … many of them - we slept with our doors closed 😂

Next day we made it to the hot springs !

What a pleasure!

So many to choose from!

Different temperatures!

My fave part was sitting in this hot pool at night and watching the stars ✨

They are accessible all day and night … for free …

Our skin felt so good

Our bodies relaxed

We will be back for sure !

Now we are in Indiana and got another load for Monday morning from Michigan going to California !!! So long we were waiting for it !!!

Good rate - 2300 miles ( empty +loaded ) for $2300

Hello from Washington state 👋🏻

We made it with no problem

After delivery we went to the park and booked a campsite for a night

Not our fave weather here right now - cold and rainy

In the morning we got a call with a new load - normally we wouldn’t take it - just 150 miles for $200 but here, we decided to take everything 😂

So on the road again … let’s see what next - dropping this short load in 2 hours and then waiting for the next one

Your crossed 🤞 fingers are still needed ! We are not out of bad area yet !

The business is still very slow ….

We accepted the load going into a bad area but at least many miles, well paid, to get there.

Our idea to deal with this run is :

“Let’s get there first… then we will be figuring it out how to get out of there” 😂

Let’s see how our new strategy will work 🙃

Another over weekend stay (with a load) at a park.

Lake Murray State Park

It’s good - very convenient location- just of the 35 hiway

We didn’t fall in love with it but we will be back because it’s location

I believe we will be happy to stop for a night or two on our way during the summer - many of campsites are waterfront - nice clean lake

My favourite weekends are when we have a load already inside our van on Friday and delivery scheduled for Monday. Not too long run … below 1000 miles

Then I will find a state or national park on our way and we will go explore it !

That’s how we found this park - Tombigbee State Park in Mississippi

It made to our list of parks we want to go camping again !

They have section for RVs - with electricity and water but very crowded …

And they have tiny section for primitive camping - only 4 spot but very private !

We had no neighbours !

It was just us and the nature 🌲

WE LOVED IT 🥰

And we will be back !

We were brutally woken up this morning!

Yesterday after dropping our load - we went to the beach 🏖️

Here is no “no overnight parking” sign, so we decided to stay for a night.

It was very quiet at night - we slept facing the beach, with side door open and our feet sticking out 😂

We love sleeping this way and we do it as often as it is possible

In the morning big noise woke us up - the crew came to clean up the parking lot and beach access - it’s windy and sand is EVERYWHERE 😂

That was interesting morning 😂

Now is coffee time !
