With a busy Summer of community outings ahead, the folks at our Angola DayHab rolled up their sleeves and got the whole fleet ready

Last week, our staff participated in the Buffalo Pride Parade! It was an incredible experience to join other agencies and organizations in celebrating inclusion, belonging, and community.

The afternoon was filled with energy, love, and appreciation as we celebrated authenticity and the importance of creating spaces where everyone feels seen, valued, and welcomed.

Thank you to everyone who participated, supported, and helped decorate our float. We look forward to continuing to foster a culture of belonging within our organization and throughout our community.

We're helping connect someone who enjoys exploring new places and visiting waterfalls with support staff through Self-Direction.

Self-Direction allows people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to choose supports that help them pursue their goals, interests, and independence.

This opportunity is a great fit for someone who enjoys being out in the community and helping others build confidence and independence.

Support may include:
• Assisting with scheduling, attending, and following up on appointments
• Learning local bus routes and transportation options
• Exploring hobbies, interests, and community activities
• Building skills that support greater independence

Schedule includes Wednesdays and/or Thursdays, with up to 18 hours available per week.

Starting pay is $28/hour.
