Working on skin barrier repair and lifestyle changes
This is one of my returning ladies, her skin is generally in good health majority of the time.

However occasionally with work and general life stress which we all have, resulting in my client consuming high sugars, drives the androgens up - cortisol is spiked - skin flares and so on.

“Your skin is so nice” “you have such good skin”

Heard often - true, but it wasn’t always this way!

As you can see the flare ups of my skin, so this is when I was going through a difficult point in my life. Stress factors were rocketed, sleep was minimal, diet was out of control, hardly eating and if I was it was sugar and cups of tea.

When we say our skin speaks first, this is literally what was happening. Now don’t get me wrong I still love a cup of tea and sweet treat, I will never be the one to tell you you have to cut out every inch of sugar, just remember in moderation.

Weather changes have an impact on my skins massively and this is something a lot of us suffer from. Changing your skin routine adapting to the seasons will make a whole different to your skin health.
