🌿334 days of pausing.🌿
Not perfectly. Not always in silence. Not always in meditation.
Some days it looked like a full meditation.
Other days it was just a few slow breaths before beginning my day.
Sometimes it was simply setting an intention for the day.
But for 334 consecutive days this year, I chose to pause.
And that small practice has changed me.
⏸️ The pause has softened my nervous system, steadied my thoughts, and helped me respond to life instead of constantly reacting to it. It has created space for clarity, prayer, gratitude, and healing in ways I didn’t expect. 🧘🏻♀️
For many women over 40, life can feel incredibly full — responsibilities, transitions, health changes, relationships, work. It’s easy to move through the day on autopilot while stress and inflammation quietly build in the background.
But here’s what I’m learning:
The pause is powerful.
Just a moment of stillness can begin to calm the nervous system, shift your mindset, and create space for your body to heal.❤️🩹
You don’t have to do it perfectly.
You don’t need 30 minutes.
You just need a moment and a willingness to begin.
One breath. One pause. One day at a time.
