How many of us stay stuck and blame everyone around us?

👉🏽 Just finished listening to a microbiome talk on building a resilient microbiome with Kiran Krishnan. So many great takeaways. 💙

One statistic really stood out:

Adding more fiber to your diet is associated with a significant reduction in all-cause mortality.

That's not a fancy supplement.

Not a detox.

Not a biohack.

Just fiber.

Fiber helps feed beneficial gut bacteria, supports digestion, helps regulate blood sugar, promotes regular bowel movements, and creates compounds that support overall health.

Sometimes the biggest health wins come from the simplest habits.

Note to self: Eat the vegetables.

I bought a new little biohacking gadget… red light therapy for my gums. 🤷🏽‍♀️

I’m giving it 90 days to see if my dentist notices any changes. Fingers crossed. 🤞🏾

But gum recession can happen for a lot of reasons:

• Chronic inflammation
• Mouth breathing
• Stress
• Teeth grinding/clenching
• Smoking
• Blood sugar imbalances
• Nutrient deficiencies
• Hormone changes
• Poor oral microbiome balance
• Aggressive brushing (I thought this was my problem)

Your mouth is connected to the rest of your body more than most people realize. Gum health, inflammation, gut health, and even blood sugar can all overlap.

I’ll report back after my 90-day experiment. Hopefully my gums decide to make a comeback tour. 😂

👉🏽 My Weekend Workout Routine... 🏃‍♀️

During the week, I focus on strength training because building muscle is one of the best investments we can make for our health, metabolism, and longevity.

But on Saturday mornings, I switch things up and join Dr. Mindy and Paige for some cardio.😅 💙

Movement doesn't have to be complicated. Some days it's weights. Some days it's cardio.

The key is consistency.

I don't always feel like working out, but I've never regretted finishing a workout.

Your future self will thank you for every step, every rep, and every choice to keep moving.
