I still can’t believe he trusted me to do his hair, because he’s pretty picky when it comes down to it.

But in the beginning he had more faith in me than I did. Now here we are years later and still cutting his hair, and branched out to do my dad’s hair too.

Never in a million years would I guess this to be where I’m at. It’s one thing to experiment on myself it’s another to do it to others 🤣

What could you experiment with? My favorite is saying no when I usually say yes. Just because I want to.

I’m all in for boundaries.

But the amount of times I have been told to have boundaries before I even know what boundary I want or need is absurd.

This is where experimenting has come into play in my life because I try things on before I go all in.

What do you think about constantly being told you need boundaries?

Some days I just don’t got it. I don’t know how to explain it. I’m just not resilient. Every little thing feels hard.

That’s where I’m at today, and today I’m experimenting with not performing.

It’s a nope day if it doesn’t need to happen then it’s a nope from me.

Does anyone else experience this, and what would you call it?

Saying no is a special super power.

Feeling good about that no and knowing it’s the right choice is next level.

My kids asked to go to garage sales and spend their money.
They asked for Mac n cheese, and lemonade and lemon bars.

So we spent the day doing what they wanted to do.

And when it came time I was ready to do something I wanted.

And I wouldn’t have known that had I not tried something different.

Out walking dogs, waving to all my elderly neighbors saying good morning. Like the nice neighbor girl I am.

Meanwhile my headphone music is absolutely feral.

Confidence to me, is knowing that one part doesn’t need to be all of me.
