🐝 How to Truly Help Bees: Beekeeper’s Advice

❌ Skip the fruit!
It can develop harmful bacteria and threaten the entire hive.

✅ Instead, set up a bee-friendly watering station:
• Use a shallow dish of fresh water.
• Add small rocks or sticks so bees can land safely.
• For extra benefit, sprinkle in a pinch of pink Himalayan salt — it provides essential minerals bees need to regulate hive temperature (about 90°F), crucial for honey and raising young.

💛 Most important:
Let bees forage naturally. Avoid direct feeding — it’s better for their health and immunity.

🌸 Small action, big impact — you’ll help bees and support the environment!

Swinging Apitherapy Bee Feeder!

I've had a solid dislike for how we've been feeding our therapy Honey Bees. Those overhead feeder always drip! When the honey warms it moves easier. Add in barometric weather pressure changes and it's all enough to drive you nuts.

Remember; Bees soaked in honey die. They essentially breathe out of a snorkel, which also gets plugged up. it's not fun watching them die like this either.

For years I've pondered this, now finally I've decided to fix the problems.

I'm showing you how to make yourself a swinging feeder too. It's a easy & fun DIY project. Give it a try!

My bad for AGAIN, rotating my camera. Sadly, I did it again. Yet, you'll still understand what's going on.
