Did you know that dance this month falls on what the Mayan Tzolkin calendar calls the "Day Out of Time"?

It is called the "Day Out of Time" because it falls out of time or as an extra day in the Gregorian calendar. But, in fact, it follows a more natural cyclical order by reflecting how 13 moons appear every 28 days for 364 days total, leaving the extra 365th day as the "Day Out of Time".

Many consider this a holy day to designate for ritual, meditation and prayer and as a means for reflection, celebration, and spiritual renewal.

Just something to consider and drop into--as what better way to honor this "in between" time than by moving together in harmony to different rhythms and dance?

Join us for another Triangle Ecstatic Dance in North Central Florida (Mt. Dora, Eustis, Tavares, Leesburg) hosted by the UUCLC @ 1235 Mt. Homer Rd, Eustis, Florida.

We will be dancing and dreaming with the ancestors!

Who Are Your Facilitators?
Lanie McKeever and Rory Jagdeo are ecstatic dance facilitators from Asheville, NC who have been immersed in this free-style movement practice for over 10 yrs. We weave dance waves from various world rhythms and music genres. Lanie is a visionary artist trained in Expressive Arts and holistic counseling and Rory bring a wealth of dance experience and is an accomplished musician.
