📣 Now Accepting Board Nominations – NDNADONA 📣
We are now accepting nominations for upcoming board positions with NDNADONA! If you—or someone you know—would be a great fit, we encourage you to submit a nomination.
Serving on the board is a great way to connect with other DONs across the state, support professional development, and help shape our annual conference. We’re looking for members who enjoy being involved, taking initiative, and working collaboratively to move projects forward.
🔹 Open Positions & Role Overviews 🔹
Vice President
Supports leadership of the association and assists with planning and member engagement.
• Support the President and step in as needed
• Participate in board and conference planning meetings
• Assist with planning the annual ND conference (speakers, vendors, agenda)
• Help recruit and engage members, including outreach to new DONs
• Promote involvement with NADONA
Corresponding Secretary
Supports communication and organization for the association.
• Send member communications (updates, reminders, conference info)
• Maintain membership contact lists and assist with outreach
• Assist with meeting notices and reminders
• Take/share meeting minutes as needed
• Support communication for the annual ND conference
• Help manage/update communication platforms (Facebook, website)
• Promote engagement and involvement, including with NADONA
🔹 What to Expect 🔹
• Year-round involvement with increased time leading up to the annual conference
• Participation in mostly virtual board/planning meetings
• Attendance at the annual ND conference
• Flexible, team-based roles with shared responsibilities
🔹 Eligibility Requirements 🔹
• Active NADONA membership required
• Currently employed in post-acute care in North Dakota
