We work on restoring strength in their jaws to gain full range with their biting/ chewing. Our OT Ms. Taylor is doing an exercise with our Michigan pediatric superstar. She is working with elevating the tongue. This is important for eating movements such as moving the food to the back of the mouth for swallowing as well as coordinating breathing during eating!
