May 27, 2025 Update
I am pleased to announce my collaboration with Hassan Kassem, MD, a highly skilled provider, as my new partner.

He has impressed me greatly and is someone that represents my same passion and dedication. Our mission is to provide patient care with the same level of compassion and attention we would expect for our own families.

We are currently operating in temporary space generously provided by One Health in Southfield. We are also in the
process of establishing a more permanent and conveniently located practice.

Our current patient hours are Wednesdays and Fridays from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM. We anticipate expanding our availability and offering additional appointment times in June.

We acknowledge that insurance carrier processes have unfortunately caused delays in patient access to our care, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. We share your frustration and are working diligently to resolve these issues. We anticipate BCN, Molina and HAP participation soon.

I am deeply grateful for the overwhelming interest in our practice. To ensure a smooth and efficient visit, we kindly request that you attempt to have your medical records sent to our office prior to your appointment.

April 16, 2025 Update

My contract has been finalized, I am now enrolled in multiple insurance plans, and I’ve been given the approval to begin seeing patients once the office preparation and staff training has been completed. Hence, I anticipate a start date on or around May 5th, 2025 but it may be sooner. Those who have reached out to me for appointments will soon be contacted.

Please note, I may not be participating in some insurance plans, but be assured that even though the credentialing process takes time, I am still working on it.

As I await my finalized contract, it appears I will restart practice in Family Medicine at my initial location near Farmington Hills, MI sometime between mid April and May 2025. Fortunately, there will be easy highway access to my new location. All patients that have contacted my office requesting an appointment will be called within the next 30 days to set up an office visit. Unfortunately, as I restart my practice I may not be able to take certain insurance plans immediately, but please understand that this is out of my control. My team is working diligently to expedite this matter and I intend on working with you during this process. Thanks for all your confidence, well wishes, and support.

Due to circumstances unforeseen and beyond my control, my addition to the team of Dr. Fenton and Baker at Walled Lake Medical Center will not occur on or after February 1st, 2025. This development is quite last minute. Although all efforts were made to allow for a smooth transition, the processes, challenges and timing were too great for all to overcome. I do wish Alliance Health and the Walled Lake Medical Center providers and staff well and thank them for their efforts and belief in me.



Unfortunately, this significantly delays my ability to begin seeing patients again. Those of you that have chosen to follow me, I apologize for this inconvenience and do not delay your medical care in my absence. I know you feel angry and frustrated that the provider you have seen is not available for you and this saddens me and hurts me on the deepest level. Your health and our relationship means so much to me. My obligation to each of you is extraordinary. I must be able to provide you health care services that exceeds all medical standards and at this time I am without a place to do so. I advise you to continue your medical care with a health care provider which could include Dr. Jason Postula-Stein at One Health in South Lyon or VillageMD Northville. An especially tough request for me but the safest and most appropriate place for you until I am in practice again.
