Classic cars, live music, dancing, snacks, smiles & a whole lot of fun at the Woodlands Car Show! 🎶💃

Our Mt. Blue Drug crew had such a great time hanging out with the residents and checking out these incredible rides. Some things just get better with age… and these cars definitely prove it! 😉❤️

🚗🎶 We’re a little late posting this one… but WAY too much fun was had not to share! 💙

A few weeks ago Caylum, Renee & Kheristen headed to Woodlands to help with their Car Show—serving drinks, passing out snacks, handing out prizes and, apparently, adding “dance partners” to their job descriptions! 💃🕺😂

One resident even swapped hats with Caylum for a photo! 🧢📸

This is exactly why we love getting our team out from behind the pharmacy counter and into our community. Connection, laughter, movement and simply spending time together are all part of wellness, too. 💙

Thank you, Woodlands, for inviting us! We had an absolute blast—and we’re already looking forward to the next one!

Kheristen, Briley,and Lydee spent the day with the wonderful residents at Woodlands in Farmington for a fun craft event!🤗

There were plenty of smiles, creativity, and laughter—and we’re not sure who had more fun, us or the residents! 😊

At Mt. Blue Drug, community outreach is about so much more than showing up. It’s about building connections, sharing joy, and supporting the overall wellness of the people who make our community so special.

⭐️ Pharmacist Friday with Travis & Savanna ⭐️

Q: Can I drink alcohol while taking antibiotics?

Our pharmacists answer:

🍷It depends on the antibiotic. For many antibiotics, having a small amount of alcohol is unlikely to make the medication less effective. However, alcohol can increase side effects like dizziness, drowsiness, and stomach upset, and it may slow your recovery from an infection.

❌Some antibiotics should NOT be mixed with alcohol at all, including:

* Metronidazole
* Tinidazole
* Some cephalosporins, such as cefotetan

❌ Combining alcohol with these medications can cause flushing, nausea, vomiting, headache, and a rapid heartbeat.

👨‍⚕️If you’re prescribed an antibiotic, it’s always a good idea to ask your pharmacist whether alcohol is safe with your specific medication.
