š„⨠Think āhealthy breakfastā has to be boring⦠or that no one else will eat it?

This is one of my go-to recipes when I need something:

āļø crowd-approved
Perfect for busy mornings, weekends, or hosting š”
š Clean Crockpot Egg Casserole
š What you need:
⢠1 lb Italian or turkey sausage
⢠12 large eggs
⢠1 tsp fennel seeds
⢠1 tsp olive oil
⢠1 red bell pepper, diced
⢠1/3 cup green onion
⢠1/2 cup feta or goat cheese (or your favorite)
⢠1 cup unsweetened milk (I like coconut milk)
⢠1 Tbsp Dijon or dry mustard
⢠1/4 tsp chili powder
⢠1/4 tsp white pepper
⢠1/2 tsp sea salt
⢠avocado cooking spray
š©āš³ What to do:
1ļøā£ Whisk eggs, milk, mustard, and spices until frothy
2ļøā£ Cook sausage + fennel in a pan until browned
3ļøā£ Spray crockpot
4ļøā£ Layer: sausage ā veggies ā cheese
5ļøā£ Pour egg mixture over top
ā² Cook:
LOW 3ā4 hrs or HIGH 1ā2 hrs
(keep an eye on edges so it doesnāt overcook)
Let cool slightly, slice, and serve š
