Hearing that your baby needs PT can feel overwhelming—especially when you're a first-time parent and don't know what to expect.
One of my favorite parts of pediatric PT is not only helping the child make progress, but helping parents understand what’s happening, why it’s happening, and how they can confidently support their child at home.

So proud of this little one and so grateful her family trusted Thrive to be part of her journey.

My favorite side effect of motherhood changing my practice?
Becoming a mom’s mom. 💚
I understand the questions, the second-guessing, the late-night Googling, and the desire to just know, “Am I doing this right?”
Motherhood has made me a better pediatric PT—not because I know everything, but because I understand how much it means to feel heard, supported, and confident in caring for your child.
Sometimes you don't need another person telling you what to do.
You just need someone in your corner. 🌱

If I could tell every parent one thing about development, it would be this:
Your child is learning ALL the time! 💚
Development isn't just about checking off milestones—it’s about building symmetry, strength, confidence, coordination, problem-solving, and independence through everyday experiences.
The floor.�The playground.�The living room.�The backyard.
Those simple moments are where big growth happens…You don't need to create a perfect environment—you just need to create opportunities for your child to explore.
