A regular period doesn't always mean your hormones are balanced. And yes, that can include PCOS (now PMOS).
PMOS can look different from person to person. While irregular periods can be a common sign, some women with PMOS still have regular cycles and may notice other signs instead, such as:
🔴 Acne
🔴 Increased facial or body hair
🔴 Hair Thinning
🔴 Difficulty with weight changes
🔴 Blood sugar or insulin concerns
🔴 Fertility challenges
🔴 Mood or energy changes
That's why your cycle is only one piece of the puzzle. Megan L. Miller APRN CNP Direct Primary Care looks at symptoms, lab work, medical history, and the overall clinical picture matter when evaluating hormone health or possible PMOS.
