But seriously, imagine your loved one going to rehab and getting a $15,000 bill afterward.

Before they enter a skilled nursing facility, make sure you understand their insurance benefits, including copays, coinsurance, and what they'll be responsible for paying.

A little homework now could prevent a very expensive surprise later!

Two years ago today, GuideWell officially became an LLC.

October 7 also happens to be my sister Sybil’s birthday. She would have been 50 today. ❤️

Every time I tell someone that my business anniversary falls on her birthday, I get a little teary-eyed. We lost my sister tragically, and there’s just something about GuideWell becoming official on her birthday that makes me feel like she’s still watching over me and cheering me on somehow.

I’m really proud of what I’ve built over the last two years, but today I’m especially thinking about her.

Happy 2 years, GuideWell. And happy 50th birthday, Sybil. ❤️
