Flint Resiliency in Communities After Stress and Trauma (ReCAST) is a federally funded initiative focused on improving the lives of high-risk youth and families impacted by the Flint Water Crisis. Flint ReCAST seeks to promote resilience and equity through implementation of evidence-based violence prevention and community youth engagement programs, as well as linkages to trauma-informed behavioral
health services. Flint ReCAST envisions the greater Flint community working together in ways that lead to improved behavioral health, empowered community residents, reductions in trauma, and sustained community change. Flint ReCAST is a program of the City of Flint and the Greater Flint Health Coalition serves as the facilitation partner for the program.
