I remember crying before this photoshoot.
Not because I hated my body —
but because I finally realized something was wrong.
As I brushed my hair, chunks were falling out.
Not a few strands…
about 30 at a time.
I was fainting 2–4 times a week.
I went to the ER multiple times in one month because I couldn’t breathe.
Every doctor said the same thing:
Deficiency. In almost everything.
I had been eating around 600 calories a day.
It took months to train my body to tolerate 2000 again —
after destroying my stomach.
I still struggle.
Shortness of breath is weekly instead of daily.
Pain with eating is once every couple weeks instead of every meal.
I don’t take medication.
Just diet changes, training, and the strongest motivation I’ve ever had:
hearing my daughter say,
“Mommy fainted again.”
I didn’t glow up.
I rebuilt myself.
And I’m still rebuilding.
