All held in community at Lakeside Wellness in Flower Mound, TX. Try a free 15-minute discovery session, on us! Mariposa Body Care was founded in 2024 by Klair Shores, following a personal health crisis that led her to explore frequency-based wellness modalities, including sound, vibroacoustic therapy, red light therapy, and Pulsed Electromagnetic Field (PEMF) therapy. These modalities supported her recovery by helping regulate the nervous system, reduce inflammation, and promote cellular restoration, an experience that ultimately shaped the foundation of her practice. What began as a small weekly gathering has grown into a regular, immersive sound experience, now held communally at Lakeside Wellness & Apothecary in Flower Mound, Texas. A Mariposa session is designed as a comprehensive, restorative experience rather than a brief addition to another practice. Sessions may incorporate a cacao ceremony, an immersive sound bath featuring gong, chimes, and vibrational instruments, red light therapy, and reiki. Guided by two facilitators, Klair and Melissa, each session is adapted in real time to the needs of the group, ensuring a personalized experience for every client. Klair's approach centers on non-invasive, frequency-based wellness. Rather than following a fixed protocol, she selects and blends modalities based on each client's individual needs, with the goal of creating a calming environment where clients can step away from overstimulation and reconnect with their sense of well-being. As a certified birth doula, Klair also brings this same grounded, supportive approach to clients navigating pregnancy and birth, complementing Mariposa's prenatal offerings. Mariposa Body Care offers individual, group, private, prenatal, and children's sessions, along with a curated product line, Face Glow, Room Refresh, and Healing Salve, available through Lakeside's apothecary. New clients are welcome to schedule a complimentary 15-minute discovery session to learn more before committing to a full session.
