I want to share that tomorrow, March 7, 2024, will be my last day as the WIC Certifier for the Spokane Tribe. I am extremely grateful to all the families for allowing me to be a part of their WIC journey these last couple years. I hope only the best for the families and the program.

There is a need to improve access to paid maternity leave & other services for women inside & outside the workplace. Fathers/partners need specified paternal/parental leave to share childcare & domestic responsibilities equitably and reduce the gender gap.
