The fast may be over—but don’t pick back up everything God helped you put down. 🙏🏽

Thank you to everyone who joined the Purposd Community Fast. Now ask yourself: What did God reveal—and what discipline will you continue?

The fast ended. The transformation didn’t. 🌱

Your body is in bed…

But your mind is still working.

Replaying what happened.
Preparing for what might happen.
Trying to solve tomorrow with tonight’s exhausted thoughts.

You keep calling it “thinking things through,” but at some point, it becomes carrying a shift God never asked you to finish.

You have prayed.
You have done what you could.
The unanswered part still belongs to God.

“In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, O Lord, will keep me safe.”
— Psalm 4:8 NLT

Tonight’s wind-down:

Put the phone facedown.
Unclench your jaw.
Take three slow breaths.

Then whisper:

“God, I release what I cannot resolve tonight. Guard my mind while I rest, and meet me with fresh grace tomorrow.”

You don’t need every answer before you close your eyes.

Sometimes faith looks like ending the day without knowing how everything will end—and trusting that God remains awake when you finally let yourself sleep.

Rest. God still has it. 🤎

Don’t let anyone make you feel ashamed of the story God is still using.

Yes, you made mistakes.
Yes, you survived things you never thought you would.
Yes, some chapters are difficult to say out loud.

But your past is not proof that you’re disqualified—it’s proof that God’s grace can reach into broken places and create something beautiful.

You don’t have to hide who you used to be to honor who you’re becoming. Your scars may be the very evidence someone else needs to believe healing is possible.

Tell your story—not for attention, but so God can receive the glory.

You overcame by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of your testimony.
— Revelation 12:11

Your story isn’t something to be ashamed of. It’s where testimony meets transformation. 🌱

Everybody wants the results—but discipline is what carries us there.

This fast isn’t only revealing what we can live without. It’s revealing what may have been controlling us: our appetites, distractions, emotions, habits, or need for comfort.

Every time we deny our flesh and choose prayer, obedience, and God’s presence, we are declaring:

“My feelings don’t lead me. My cravings don’t lead me. God does.”

Discipline may feel uncomfortable now, but regret costs much more later. So don’t quit when it gets difficult—the struggle may be revealing exactly where God wants to strengthen you.

📖 “Walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh.” — Galatians 5:16 NIV

What is this fast revealing to you?

🌱 Heal. Grow. Become.

And yes I've sweated the lashes every which way but lol...

Father God, 🙏🏽

Thank You for giving us another opportunity to draw closer to You. During this fast, strengthen our discipline and help us surrender every appetite, habit, distraction, and desire that has been controlling us.

When our flesh feels weak, remind us that our spirit is being strengthened. When we’re tempted to quit, help us remember why we started. Teach us to choose temporary discomfort over lasting regret—and obedience over convenience.

Reveal the areas where we’ve been making excuses, delaying change, or asking You to do what You’ve already given us the strength to do. Replace our cravings with a hunger for Your presence, our distractions with focus, and our inconsistency with discipline.

But Father, don’t let this fast become only about what we’re giving up. Let it be about what we’re making room for: more prayer, more wisdom, more peace, more clarity, and more of You.

Help us finish this week stronger, 💪🏽closer to You, and more committed to becoming who You created us to be.

In Jesus’ name, amen. 🙌🏽

A hard moment can make your mind tell a whole story that God never wrote.

One bad day doesn’t mean you’re back at the beginning.
One mistake doesn’t erase your growth.
One anxious thought doesn’t get to decide what happens next.

Pause before you believe the worst.

Pray before you spiral.

Return to truth before fear becomes your conclusion.

God is still working in you—even on the days your mind tries to convince you otherwise. 🤍

What if the thought you keep repeating isn’t truth… just something your mind learned to believe?

Old thought patterns can feel automatic because they’ve been rehearsed for so long. But familiar doesn’t mean true.

Renewing your mind means noticing the thought, questioning it, and replacing it with what God actually says.

You don’t have to believe every thought that enters your mind.
You can learn a new way to think, respond, and live. 🌿

What have you been believing so long that you stopped asking whether it was actually true?

Some thoughts were formed in pain.
Some came from rejection.
Some were handed to you by people who never knew your worth.

But every thought does not deserve your agreement.

Renewing your mind means slowing down long enough to notice what you’ve been repeating, comparing it to God’s truth, and choosing a new way to think—even when the old thought still feels familiar.

You don’t have to keep carrying yesterday’s mindset into the life God is building today.
