An update from your Somatic Facialist 🌹

starting my business as a holistic facialist coincided the same time I got pregnant with my daughter. Essentially, two dreams coming true at once. I finally got to have my dream girl AND I started a business that was in alignment with my God given gifts and acquired skills.

And this summer after taking some time off I was asking myself how I could hold both while honoring this season of life. ⚖️

I don’t want to put so much pressure on my business, but it keeps me mentally absent from my family. And I don’t want to walk away from my business either. I’m just a girl that wants it all 🤷🏻‍♀️

Enter: POP-UPS. Moving forward I will be offering pop up facials in areas of Northern Colorado one, to two times a month. This way I can still see and serve my beautiful clients and not worry about the overhead of doing it all, all the time.

Slowing things down over here because tending to my own nervous system is health care is skin care is tender loving care and practicing what I encourage my clients to do. 💆🏻‍♀️

It’s easy to get swept up and away with the heatwave of summer and I felt myself falling right along with the collective rhythm and if I’m honest, it didn’t feel good.

For those of you that are new here I had a baby 9 months ago and it feels super important to go slow when I can and be present with all the moving parts happening within myself and my growing family.

Pausing my facial business this summer (besides some epic pop-ups planned!) has been a radical act of trust towards the alignment and quality of what I’m creating in and out of the treatment space.

Signing up for continued education, slow mornings, languid pool days, and giving myself yummy facials feels like it’s the necessary thing to do for the sustainability of my practice and devotion to my craft.

Thank you for following along. I hope you’re inspired to take pause in an area of your life where rest, repair, and recalibration are calling you forward. 🌹

Summer skin is thirsty. 💦

Not for more exfoliation.
Not for harsher cleansers.
Not for another product promising to “dry it out.”

Oil cleansing remains one of the most misunderstood steps in skincare. Even breakout-prone skin can benefit from an oil-based cleanser when chosen thoughtfully. Oil dissolves oil, lifting away SPF, makeup, excess sebum, and environmental debris without disrupting the skin’s natural defenses.

The goal isn’t squeaky clean.
