I'd like to have a large enough group that we always have someone to walk with several days a week.

Well, I still can't walk. It's like I'm jinxed since I made this page. I tripped and cracked 3 ribs last year and then realized I had 4 fractured vertebrae. I had surgery this January to cement my spine and then 3 more vertebrae fractured. I have very bad osteoporosis. I was on the mend and I had a setback just rolling gently out of bed. I injured an 8th vertebrae. I'm like a china doll until I have a year of osteoporosis daily shots under my belt. So, i can't walk far but I hope to stand and feature more locations when I can comfortably drive. The hardest thing for me right now is sitting. Let's hope I make it back to this page!

Hi Folks. I've been off of this page because I haven't been able to walk since November. But I plan to walk again. I haven't solved my problem after a foot cast and MRI. I got box toe shoes and I'm just dealing with some pain. I got a cortisone shot in my foot and it was the most painful thing ever. Now I just live with lidocaine and nervive roller balls. I walked for the first time last week. My foot wasn't happy after. But I will walk. It's my joy. It's the best thing about this place.

High folks...my walking is a little delayed because my favorite spots are flooded. Prayers for everyone dealing with this tragedy. We are blessed here but all the most special towns on the mountain are devastated and the people can't get out. Many prayers needed. Send the national guard.
