Hello from Healing Willow Therapeutic Massage! I am just updating my introduction post as I have updated my space and my services again!

My name is Vanessa Thomas, and I am a licensed massage therapist, graduating from Ivy Tech in 2015. I am trained in Swedish (relaxation) massage, deep tissue/therapeutic massage, prenatal massage, TMJ release/intraoral massage, hot stone massage, cupping and reiki massage.

I specialize in helping clients find relief from chronic pain and chronic stress, creating sessions tailored to your body’s specific needs.

As someone who is chronically ill and disabled, I work limited part-time hours. Because of this, I operate from my home, located just off Runnion Ave, just west of downtown Fort Wayne, Indiana.

My living room has been fully transformed into a tranquil, spa-like massage space. Please rest assured - my practice is fully professional, and working from home does not compromise the quality of care you will receive. I’ve included photos of my space so you can feel comfortable and confident before your visit.

If needed, I also offer mobile sessions for clients within Fort Wayne or up to 30 minutes outside my location, provided there is a suitable first-floor space for a massage table.

I do offer new client specials, discounts for people on medicaid and I always offer discounts for referrals and honest reviews!

Could TMJ release/intraoral massage be beneficial for you?

If you suffer from jaw pain, clicking and or popping, clenching, grinding, headaches, ear pressure, facial tension… you are not alone. I live with TMJD myself.

I got into this work because of my own chronic pain. I know what it feels like to be desperate for relief, and to not feel heard and not be able to get the relief I need. But I finally found the relief I was seeking with massage. So, as a massage therapist, I decided to learn how to do it myself so that I could pass the healing I had received onto others.

Intraoral TMJ release is a gentle, targeted technique where I work externally on the jaw, neck, shoulders, head and face, and internally (inside the mouth, with gloves) to release deeper muscles that can’t be accessed from the outside.

This work can help:
• Reduce jaw pain & clicking
• Ease headaches & migraines
• Improve range of motion

Pricing Update

When I introduced my monthly frequency discounts, my goal was to make consistent bodywork more accessible and to encourage regular care. I truly believe massage is essential for many people, not a luxury.

I have genuinely enjoyed being able to offer those discounts for as long as I have. Supporting my regular clients in that way has meant a lot to me.

However, as my practice has grown and business expenses have increased, expenses for everything has gone up with inflation, I’ve had to reassess what is sustainable long-term. Unfortunately, continuing the frequency-based and loyalty discount program is no longer possible.

Effective April 1st 2026, all sessions will return to my standard rates which are as follows

30 minutes - $55
60 minutes - $85
90 minutes - $120
120 minutes - $155

Mobile massage within city limits is a 60 minute minimum with a $65 travel fee.

If you are outside of city limits there will be a 90 minute minimum and an $80 travel fee.

✨ What Is TMJ Release / Intraoral Massage? ✨
If you struggle with jaw pain, clicking or popping, headaches, ear pain, clenching, grinding, or facial tension, TMJ release may help.
TMJ stands for temporomandibular joint — the joint that connects your jaw to your skull. When the muscles around this joint become tight or overworked (often from stress, trauma, clenching, or grinding), it can cause pain not just in the jaw, but also in the neck, shoulders, head, and even sinuses.
Intraoral massage is a specialized technique where I gently and professionally work the muscles inside the mouth (with medical gloves) as well as outside along the jaw, face, and neck. Many of the primary jaw muscles can only be fully accessed from inside the mouth, which is why this technique can be so effective.
