Repost!! PossAbility day #3! Started with stretching class by Adam Gutting and Ally Brazer then canoe time. It was a beautiful, warm, sunny day ☀️☀️ Then ended the day with more jazz from Connor Lee. Everyone enjoyed the jazz trio so much that on a whim we invited them back for a second night, the first time we’ve ever done that! So we enjoyed Tinker Coffee Co. and jazz for a second evening followed by a bonfire. Such a great day!

Repost! Day #2 at retreat in Indiana. Our first full day! Started the day with Tinker Coffee Co. and a coffee tasting, then zipline, and ended with live jazz from Connor Lee and IU Jazz students and a coffee cart from Tinker Coffee Co.. Had some excitement when the fireplace got too smoky and we had to evacuate but everyone enjoyed the live jazz, evening outside, and firemen demo! Then it was back inside for more games and laughter until bedtime. Such a great day!!

I am BLOWN AWAY by this free resource!!! 😂 😂

Recently, PossAbility Unlimited reached out to me about their Paralysis Support video library, and after checking it out, I was really impressed with what they’ve created.

While the videos have a spinal cord injury focus, there’s helpful information for people living with many forms of paralysis, as well as caregivers and healthcare providers.

One thing that really stood out to me is that the videos show procedures on REAL people living with paralysis. No mannequins or cartoons! The people featured in the videos were paid for their participation and also helped determine which topics should be prioritized, so the content was created with direct input from the disability community.

And the best part? The videos are completely FREE to watch! 🙌 You just need to register to access the video library.

Our boy David Privett tied the knot today! ❤️❤️ We are so excited for him and Rachel and the beginning of their lives together. For those who don’t know, David is PossAbility Unlimited’s longest serving volunteer. He is in his 10th consecutive year with PossAbility and now works on staff as Lauren’s assistant during retreat weekends. We love him so much! Please share your congrats!! 🎉🎊🎈
