Morning sickness is often brushed off as “just hormones” in pregnancy.
And while hormones do play a role, they’re not the whole story for many women.
Your body is doing a massive amount of work in pregnancy. Building a baby while also managing shifts in blood sugar regulation, digestion, hormones shifts, and nutrient demand. When certain foundational nutrients like minerals are depleted, it can show up in very real physical symptoms… including nausea.
This doesn’t mean something is wrong with you. It means your body is communicating.
And when we zoom out, morning sickness is often less random than it feels in the moment.
If you’re currently in this season and just trying to get through each day, you don’t have to stay in the guessing cycle.
DM me “NAUSEA” and I’ll share more about the Motherhood Foundations Test and how it helps uncover what your body actually needs in pregnancy so you can feel more supported.
