And you found my page. 👋🏼

One of the first things many women hear after getting pregnant is: “Start taking a prenatal.”

And while a quality prenatal can absolutely be helpful, it’s only one small piece of the puzzle.

Pregnancy dramatically increases your nutritional needs. Your body is building a placenta, growing a baby, expanding blood volume, supporting hormone production, and preparing for postpartum recovery all at the same time.

That takes more than a single supplement.

You can’t out-supplement a diet that’s lacking in key nutrients, and the “best” plan isn’t the same for everyone. Your symptoms, history, lifestyle, and nutrient status all matter.

This is exactly why I start with the Motherhood Foundations Test to help uncover what your body actually needs, so we’re not guessing or using a one-size-fits-all approach in pregnancy.

From there, we build a personalized nutrition plan that supports both mom and baby not just to prevent deficiencies, but to help you feel nourished, steady, and supported throughout pregnancy.

Because pregnancy deserves more than “take a prenatal and good luck.”

It deserves individualized support.

If you’re ready for a nutrition plan tailored to your body and your pregnancy, send me a DM with the word BABY and let’s chat. 🤍

You’ve probably heard someone say, “That’s just pregnancy.”
But what if your symptoms are actually your body asking for more support?

Many common pregnancy symptoms… like leg cramps, headaches, fatigue, poor sleep, brain fog, dizziness, and anxiety… may be influenced by nutrient and mineral imbalances.

That doesn’t mean nutrients are always the cause, but it does mean these symptoms deserve curiosity rather than dismissal.

One of the biggest mistakes I see is women trying to fix a symptom by taking a single supplement.

Minerals don’t work in isolation.

Calcium, magnesium, sodium, potassium, iron, and other nutrients function together, so focusing on just one piece of the puzzle may not address the underlying issue.

That’s why I use the Motherhood Foundations Test to look at the bigger picture.

Instead of guessing, we identify patterns that may be contributing to your symptoms and build a personalized plan using nutrition and targeted support.

If you’re preparing for pregnancy, currently pregnant, or postpartum and tired of being told your symptoms are “just normal,” send me FOUNDATIONS and I’ll share how the test works. 🤍

How you prepare your body before pregnancy doesn’t just impact pregnancy… it directly shapes your postpartum recovery.

Because your body doesn’t start pregnancy at “neutral.”

It starts with whatever reserves you already have.

Minerals.
Iron stores.
Blood sugar stability.
Nervous system capacity.

And pregnancy draws from all of it.

Every stage of growth requires your body to give more constantly.
More nutrients for baby.
More minerals to build with.
More energy output day after day.

So if you begin pregnancy already running low…
your body doesn’t suddenly bounce back postpartum.

It often feels it more.

Slower recovery.
Deeper fatigue.
A longer road back to feeling like yourself.

This is why preconception care matters so much.

Because building your nutrient reserves before you conceive
is also building your postpartum foundation.

Not just for pregnancy…
but for the version of you after birth who still needs energy, stability, and recovery capacity.

Your postpartum experience is not separate from your pre-pregnancy health.

They are directly connected.

🤍 And if you’re wondering where you actually stand right now, whether your body is resourced, depleted, or somewhere in between, my Motherhood Foundations Test was created for exactly that.

It helps you understand what your body is currently working with, so you’re not guessing as you move into pregnancy, postpartum, or even the planning stage.

If this resonates, you can start with the Motherhood Foundations Test (link in bio) and get clarity on what your body actually needs to feel supported again.

I see you.

The one who is trying so hard to do everything “right”…
eating better, researching, asking questions, showing up for your body in ways no one ever taught you how.

I see the exhaustion you push through.
The symptoms you’ve been told are “just part of it.”
The way you’ve learned to put yourself last because that’s what good moms do… right?

But somewhere along the way, you got the message that you don’t matter as much as the baby.

And that’s just not true.

Your body is not separate from this process.
Your experience matters.
How you feel in your body matters.

You deserve to feel supported… not depleted.
You deserve clarity… not confusion.
You deserve to feel like your body is working with you, not against you.

And most of all, you deserve support that actually sees you.

Not just as a vessel.
Not just as “mom.”
But as a whole person walking through one of the biggest transitions of your life.

You don’t have to keep guessing.
You don’t have to keep pushing through.

If you’ve been feeling this way, this is exactly why I use the Motherhood Foundations Test. To help you understand what your body actually needs so you can feel more supported in every stage.

There is a better starting point and you deserve to find it 🤍

Most women are told the same thing in early pregnancy:

“Just eat what you can.”
“First trimester is just like this.”
“Nothing you can really do.”

But when you zoom out on what’s actually happening in the body during early pregnancy, it makes a lot more sense why so many women feel exhausted, nauseous, and completely depleted.

Your body is building an entire support system for pregnancy (the placenta), shifting blood volume, and dramatically increasing nutrient demand all at once.

That level of change requires more than just “getting through it.”

And when certain foundational nutrients aren’t keeping up with demand, symptoms like nausea, fatigue, dizziness, headaches, and food aversions can show up as your body’s way of signaling it needs support.

This doesn’t mean something is wrong with you.
It means your body is working hard and may need more intentional support than it’s getting right now.

If you’re in your first trimester and feeling this way, the Motherhood Foundations Test is a great place to start to help you identify what your body may be needing most right now.

DM me “FOUNDATIONS” and I can send more information.

Stress isn’t just something you feel.
It’s something your body adapts to.

And when it’s been your baseline for years, it changes how your body shows up for fertility.

Here’s what’s actually happening underneath that:

✅ Your nervous system is running in a constant sympathetic “go” state. Your body is prioritizing survival, not reproduction, which can disrupt ovulation signaling and cycle consistency.

✅ You’re burning through minerals faster than you’re replenishing them. Magnesium, sodium, and potassium are being used to keep up with cortisol, leaving less available for energy, thyroid function, and progesterone support.

âś… Your brain + ovaries communication gets affected. Stress signals from the brain can downregulate the hormonal cascade needed for ovulation.

âś… Your body becomes less resilient to inflammation. Chronic stress shifts your immune response and can increase inflammation, which impacts hormone balance and egg quality.

âś… Your gut environment shifts. Protective bacteria decrease, inflammatory patterns increase, and estrogen metabolism can become less efficient.

And over time, your body learns that this state is “normal”.

So even if you don’t feel stressors, your body is still operating like it is.

This is why “just relax” has never worked.

Because it’s not about trying to calm down. It’s about giving your body the resources and support it needs to actually come out of survival mode.

This is the deeper work behind fertility.

If this is connecting for you, comment FERTILITY and I’ll send you the next step 🤍

06/01/2026

Postpartum mineral depletion is one of the most overlooked contributors to how women feel after having a baby and it’s rarely addressed in standard postpartum care.

During pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and breastfeeding, your body prioritizes your baby’s nutrient needs first.

If those minerals aren’t intentionally replenished, your body can start to run on empty in ways that show up as symptoms most moms are told to just “push through.”

Here are some of the patterns I see often in my work:

→ Fatigue that doesn’t improve with sleep
Often linked to magnesium, iron, copper, and potassium depletion affecting cellular energy production and oxygen delivery.

→ Brain fog and cognitive changes
Commonly connected to zinc, iodine, magnesium, and sodium levels that support focus, memory, and nervous system signaling.

→ Mood swings, irritability, and anxiety
Frequently influenced by magnesium, zinc, calcium, and potassium, which all play a role in nervous system regulation and stress response.

→ Hormonal shifts postpartum
Including irregular cycles, thyroid symptoms, low libido, and anxiety, often involving zinc, selenium, iodine, and copper balance.

→ Difficulty losing baby weight despite lifestyle efforts
Often tied to iodine, selenium, chromium, and zinc, which influence thyroid function, metabolism, and blood sugar regulation.

What’s important here is this:

These symptoms are common, but that doesn’t always mean they’re just “normal mom life.”

Sometimes they’re signals that your body is asking for deeper support and replenishment.

Inside the Motherhood Foundations Test, we look at 35 minerals and nutritional markers to help identify what may actually be driving symptoms like fatigue, brain fog, mood changes, hormone imbalance, and weight loss resistance.

If you’ve been feeling off and not getting clear answers, you can comment “FOUNDATIONS” or send me a message and I’ll share the details.

Your body requires more attention if you’ve had previous pregnancies and are wanting to get pregnant again.

Pregnancy pulls heavily from your body’s nutrient and mineral reserves with estimates suggesting around a 10% depletion if those stores aren’t properly replenished.

And that doesn’t even account for birth, postpartum recovery, or breastfeeding… let alone complications like blood loss, severe nausea, or chronic stress during that season.

The reality is, many women move into another pregnancy without ever fully restoring what was used the first time.

So if you’re a mom wanting to get pregnant again, preparing your body isn’t just about “trying again”. It’s about restoring from the last season so your body isn’t starting from depletion.

Your next pregnancy deserves a supported foundation, not a depleted one.

If you want a simple place to start, my Motherhood Foundations Test can help you better understand what areas your body may need support in before pregnancy so you’re not guessing or trying to do it all alone.

I think one of the hardest parts about pregnancy symptoms is how quickly women are dismissed.

“You’re pregnant. That’s normal.”
“Just eat crackers.”
“First trimester is survival mode.”

And listen, I know sometimes survival mode IS real. Sometimes you truly are eating whatever you can keep down.

But I also think we’ve normalized women feeling deeply unwell without ever asking why the body is struggling so hard.

Pregnancy dramatically increases the demand for nutrients, minerals, blood sugar stability, and nervous system support. And when those foundations are already depleted, symptoms often get louder.

This is exactly why I use the Motherhood Foundations Test with women struggling with things like:
• severe nausea
• food aversions
• low appetite
• exhaustion
• dizziness
• blood sugar crashes

Because so often, there are deeper patterns underneath the surface that have been missed for years.

Your body isn’t failing you.
And your symptoms are not random.

You deserve more support than “just get through it.”

If this sounds like you and you’re wanting to understand what your body may actually be asking for, send me a DM with the word “FOUNDATIONS” and I’ll send you more information about the Motherhood Foundations Test.

So many women think postpartum exhaustion, mood shifts, cravings, and burnout are just part of motherhood.

But what I see over and over again is something different.

It’s not random. And it’s not just lack of sleep or stress.

It’s a pattern of the body still operating without enough support after pregnancy and postpartum especially at the level of energy production, stress response, appetite regulation, and overall resilience.

Which is why things start to feel like:
• waking up already exhausted
• feeling wired but drained
• constantly behind no matter how much you do
• hunger that never feels satisfied
• a shorter fuse than you used to have
• “everything is normal… so why don’t I feel normal?”

These aren’t separate issues.

They’re signals of a system that’s been under a lot of demand for a long time without enough rebuilding.

And this is where most women get stuck because they’re told everything looks fine, so they try to push through, optimize sleep, clean up diet, manage stress… and still feel the same.

In my work, we step back and look at what your symptoms are actually showing about your body’s current state after pregnancy and postpartum.

Then we focus on rebuilding the foundational support your body needs so energy, mood, appetite, and resilience can actually start to stabilize again not just be managed day to day.

If this hit home, you’re not alone in it.

And it doesn’t have to stay your normal.

If you want support figuring out what’s going on in your body specifically, DM to get started.
