🕊️ Happy Heavenly 74th Birthday, Mom. 🕊️❤️

It has taken me all day to make this post because sometimes grief doesn’t care how many years have passed. Some days, it still feels just as heavy.

Losing my mom was one of the most traumatic experiences of my life. And besides watching Alec and Aden battle cancer, I don’t think anything has ever hurt me quite the same.

Mom, there isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t think about you. 💔

I’ve had to walk through some of the hardest moments of my life without you here. I’ve sat beside hospital beds, heard the word CANCER not once, but twice, cried tears I didn’t know I had left, made impossible decisions, and somehow found the strength to keep going for my children.

But there were so many times I just wanted my mom.

I wanted your guidance. Your support. Your voice telling me what to do when I was scared. I wanted to call you and say, “Mom, I don’t know if I can handle this.” And more than anything, I wanted you here to see that your grandsons made it. 🎗️🙏🏽

Alec and Aden fought cancer, and I know you were watching over us every step of the way.

One of my greatest heartbreaks is knowing my children never got the opportunity to truly know you, love you, laugh with you, and experience the woman who gave me life.

So today, on your 74th birthday, I’m allowing myself to miss you a little louder. 🕊️

No matter how old I get, there will always be moments when I simply need my mother.

Happy Heavenly Birthday, Mom. ❤️
You are loved. You are missed. You are remembered.

Forever your loving daughter. 🕊️❤️

💙 From Aden 💙

This week isn’t just about a vacation…

It’s about celebrating Alec’s cancer-free Make-A-Wish. 🎗️🌊

Everyone has watched my brother fight the battle of his life, but what many people don’t see is that cancer changes the lives of the whole family. As Alec’s twin, I’ve been on this journey too. We may have fought different battles, but we’ve walked the same road together.

There were days filled with fear, uncertainty, hospital visits, and prayers. There were moments when I wished I could take away my brother’s pain. Watching someone you love fight cancer changes you forever. ❤️

But it also teaches you something.

It teaches you to never take a single day for granted.
To celebrate every smile.
To cherish every hug.
To find joy in the little moments that so many people overlook.

Seeing Alec laugh, smile, and enjoy Alec’s Make-A-Wish means more to me than I could ever put into words. This isn’t just his celebration—it’s a reminder of everything we’ve overcome together as brothers.

To everyone who prayed for us, encouraged us, and stood beside our family through the hardest days… thank you. Your kindness carried us farther than you’ll ever know. 🙏💙

Today, we’re choosing joy.
We’re choosing hope.
We’re choosing gratitude.

And no matter what life brings next, we’ll face it the same way we always have—together. 💙👬

Love,
Aden

📸✨ Just a little mini photoshoot… but memories that will last a lifetime. ❤️

Watching Paris and Aden smile in front of the camera filled my heart in ways I can’t even explain. After everything our family has been through, these aren’t just pictures—they’re proof of strength, healing, and the beautiful moments that come after the storm. 🥹

Life moves fast, so take the pictures. Laugh a little louder. Hug your babies a little tighter. One day, these moments will become your greatest treasures. ❤️

I’d say these two definitely understood the assignment! 😍 Which picture is your favorite? 👇📸

🚨 Oops… I’m a day late posting this one! 😂✈️

I couldn’t let this moment go by without sharing it. Look at this smile!! 💙 Our favorite guy, Alec O’Connor, got the incredible opportunity to sit in the cockpit before our flight, and it absolutely made his day! 🥹👨‍✈️

A huge THANK YOU to the amazing crew at Southwest Airlines for going above and beyond to make Alec feel so special. Your kindness, compassion, and generosity turned an ordinary flight into a memory he’ll never forget. ❤️✈️

Moments like these remind us that it’s often the little acts of kindness that leave the biggest impact. After everything Alec has fought through on his cancer journey, seeing him smile like this means more than words can ever express. 💙🎗️

Thank you all for following along on Alec’s Make-A-Wish adventure. We have so many more special memories to share with you this week, so stay tuned! Your love, prayers, and support continue to lift our family every single day. 🙏✨

☀️ This morning started with one very important realization… Momma had NO coffee. 😂☕ And if you know me… that’s an emergency!

So off to the grocery store we went… and somehow we walked out with a cart full of groceries instead. 🤣🛒

After eating out the last couple of days and spending well over $100 each time, we decided today was the perfect day to stay in, cook together, and be smart with the money we have. Every dollar we save on meals means more memories we can make with the kids this week. ❤️

Sometimes the best moments aren’t found in fancy restaurants or expensive outings. They’re found around the dinner table, laughing while cooking together, making the most of every blessing we’ve been given. 🥹🍽️

This Make-A-Wish journey has been everything… emotional, exciting, overwhelming, and absolutely unforgettable. Watching Alec smile through it all reminds me that it’s never about how much money you spend—it’s about who you’re spending your time with. 💙

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to every single person who has followed, prayed for, encouraged, and loved our family through this journey. Your support means more than you’ll ever know. We’re making memories that will last a lifetime because of all of you. 🙏✨

💙 Here’s to coffee, home-cooked meals, smart choices, and making every single moment count.

Touchdown in Florida! ✈️🌴 The plane has landed, we officially grabbed our rental van, and our Make-A-Wish adventure is officially underway! Words can’t describe how excited and grateful we are to finally be here. Time to make some unbelievable memories! ☀️✨❤️

Paris has learned one of the hardest lessons at a young age… family isn’t always the people who share your blood. Family is the people who SHOW UP. ❤️ The ones who text to check on you 📱, come to the games 🏀, encourage your dreams ✨, pray for you 🙏🏽, help when things get hard 💪🏽, and remind you who you are when life gets heavy. 🖤

Yes, having an absent parent and absent family members can hurt. 💔 I would be lying if I said it didn’t affect her at times. But what I’ve made sure of as her mother is this: my daughter will NEVER lack love, support, guidance, protection, or people cheering her on. NEVER. 👏🏽🔥

Even while dealing with her twin brothers fighting cancer 🎗️💔, long hospital nights, emotional breakdowns, fear, exhaustion, and having to step away from my career and sacrifice so much… I STILL made sure Paris was seen, loved, supported, and pushed toward her dreams. 🏀✨

There were days I wanted to quit. Days I cried in silence. Days I didn’t know how I was going to keep everything together. But I got up anyway. 🙏🏽 I prayed. I cried. I kept moving. I made the impossible happen for my children. 💪🏽🔥

God placed some incredible women 👑 AND men 🛡️ in her life who step up in ways they don’t even have to. Strong women who pour wisdom, strength, confidence, and love into her. ❤️ Strong men who lead by example, encourage her, protect her spirit, and remind her what real support looks like. That matters more than people realize. 💯

One thing I’m teaching all my children is this: stop begging people to be in your life who continuously choose not to be there. 🚪 You cannot force people to love correctly, support correctly, or show up consistently. Let them go peacefully ✌🏽 and keep building with the people who DO show up. 🙌🏽

And let me say this loud for the people in the back — Paris has BACKUP. REAL backup. 💪🏽🔥 A whole village behind her. A team behind her. People who clap for her when she wins 🏆 and hold her up when life gets tough. 🫶🏽 She’s surrounded by people who genuinely believe in her future and pour into her dreams daily. 🏀✨

So no, we’re not focusing on who’s missing anymore. 🚫 We’re celebrating who’s PRESENT. ❤️ We’re celebrating loyalty 🤞🏽, consistency 💯, love 🫶🏽, effort 👏🏽, and the people who continue to stand beside her no matter what.

Because one day when Paris’ name is being announced on a WNBA court 🏀🎤, understand this wasn’t built on excuses, bitterness, or people who disappeared. ❌ This was built on resilience 🔥, sacrifice 🙏🏽, faith ✝️, discipline 💪🏽, and an unstoppable support system that refused to let her quit. 👑

💥
“Never cry over the people who walked away when God sent a whole army to stand behind you.” 💯🔥
