🕊️ Happy Heavenly 74th Birthday, Mom. 🕊️❤️
It has taken me all day to make this post because sometimes grief doesn’t care how many years have passed. Some days, it still feels just as heavy.
Losing my mom was one of the most traumatic experiences of my life. And besides watching Alec and Aden battle cancer, I don’t think anything has ever hurt me quite the same.
Mom, there isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t think about you. 💔
I’ve had to walk through some of the hardest moments of my life without you here. I’ve sat beside hospital beds, heard the word CANCER not once, but twice, cried tears I didn’t know I had left, made impossible decisions, and somehow found the strength to keep going for my children.
But there were so many times I just wanted my mom.
I wanted your guidance. Your support. Your voice telling me what to do when I was scared. I wanted to call you and say, “Mom, I don’t know if I can handle this.” And more than anything, I wanted you here to see that your grandsons made it. 🎗️🙏🏽
Alec and Aden fought cancer, and I know you were watching over us every step of the way.
One of my greatest heartbreaks is knowing my children never got the opportunity to truly know you, love you, laugh with you, and experience the woman who gave me life.
So today, on your 74th birthday, I’m allowing myself to miss you a little louder. 🕊️
No matter how old I get, there will always be moments when I simply need my mother.
Happy Heavenly Birthday, Mom. ❤️
You are loved. You are missed. You are remembered.
Forever your loving daughter. 🕊️❤️
