There’s a version of me I don’t share very often.

There was a time when I’d get my kids to bed and just stand in the kitchen, looking at a sink full of dishes, food I’d prepped and never touched sitting in the fridge, and a to-do list where the only thing I’d crossed off in three days was brushing my teeth. 🪥🦷

Frustrated. Defeated. I mean … I have a freaking nutrition degree & I coach people through this for a living. Why couldn’t I do it for myself?😩

And I know I’m not the only one who’s felt like this. I work with women all the time who buy the new planner, build the perfect aesthetic AI-generated meal plan, do all the things “right”…..but that’s not always what your brain actually needs.

Sometimes your brain needs a little less planning, not more.

So when I was in the thick of it, I picked one task. Something I knew I could finish in under 3 minutes, but I still put it off…

& somehow making my bed every day dominoed into a 25-pound weight loss journey.

That’s the whole mechanism behind Fit in Four….it’s not another checklist. ✅ It’s a system built to prove to your brain that you’ll actually keep a promise to yourself.

As a business owner & mom x2 my life is BUSY (just like yours😅🤪) but even when I’m busy, I want to feel confident in my body & have energy to keep up!

THIS is what my lunches look like.

I eat the same 3-5 things in different variety on repeat for weeks on end. It’s not always pretty.
I usually cook it on Sunday & eat on it throughout the week (or use leftovers).
Most days I eat while working.

Do I love always eating the same thing? No.
Do I love feeling like crap about myself? Also no.
So, I’ll do what I don’t always love because it’s CONSISTENT & makes me FEEL good.

I don’t skip meals. I don’t live on coffee & energy drinks until 2pm. I’m not “being good” all day, just to go crazy at night.

I’ve done enough of that.
Eat light all day ➡️ stay busy ➡️ ignore hunger ➡️ spiral later

Now? I build my meals around PFF formula. Not fancy, just intentional.

Feeling confident comes from doing the basics CONSISTENTLY, even when life is life-ing.

I’m not telling you this because I want a pat on the back for turning a bad year into total life change.

I’m telling you because I see you doing the thing I used to do... shrinking yourself down so nobody’s uncomfortable. Which costs you your health — both mentally and physically.

You skip the walk during your kid’s practice so you’re not the one being watched.
You say yes to coffee and pastries with a coworker because saying no to protect your macros feels rude.
You soften what you actually think on things that matter to you.
You say “it’s fine” when someone hurt you and it’s not fine at all.

Every one of those is a tiny vote for someone else’s comfort over your own progress. And that ends with you handing the most vulnerable parts of your life to people who won’t fight for you and your success.

So if I can leave you with some practical advice: stop auditioning for people who need you smaller. Your health included. Because the right people... the right coach, the right friends, the right anything... are going to want you exactly as loud, as visible, as healthy and fit, and as taken-care-of as you already deserve to be.

That’s the whole philosophy behind Fit in Four. 👀

Weight loss is so ridiculously… unsexy. It’s insanely boring & if you keep it boring, it’s actually easy! 🫠

I ate the same meals over & over. You don’t need 72 recipes a week or 6 hour of meal prep on Sunday. You need meals that keep you full and can be made while you’re helping with homework or holding a kid. Simplicity —> consistency —> results.

I hit 8,000 steps (almost) every day, even if that meant pacing my kitchen or driveway at night. NEWSFLASH: life is busy for everyone…the people who get results make non-negotiables instead of excuses🎤.
Mood boost + calorie burn = progress ~ PERIODT.

I never gave up Diet Coke or the creamer in my coffee. The second something’s off-limits is the second I want it more. So I built my plan AROUND it, not against it.

I let walking count as exercise, which is hard to accept as a runner but it took stress off my body & made my step goal sustainable instead of hitting the end of the day constantly behind.

I stopped looking for the “right” plan. I made it a science expedriment… Tried things. Kept what worked. Dropped what didn’t…until it paid off.

Boring. Unsexy. Easy. It works

If you want to lose weight like this, Fit in Four is the place to start.

A lot of coaches or wellness junkies won’t admit this but I will... some of the “unhealthy” things I do are exactly what keep me consistent and well… healthy 🤷‍♀️

I drink Diet Coke/Coke Zero every single day because it makes me happy, and a happy version of me sticks to her plan a lot better than a miserable one who successfully cut it out for 3 weeks then gave in and now drinks 2+.

I don’t track my coffee creamer because I don’t believe that some things are worth the mental math. I like it in the mornings, it gets me going. I won’t cut it out.

I eat dessert if I want it, sometimes daily, because avoiding it completely just makes me want it more (and then binge on it later, which helps make me feel guilty AND overweight).

Carbs are at every meal, not because I “earned” them, but because cutting them never worked long term. I have more energy, patience, and success losing weight when I consistently eat carbs.

We call them off plan meals in my world, not cheat meals, because “cheat” implies you did something wrong, and eating a meal isn’t a moral failure.

‼️‼️ Here’s what nobody tells you: the second you label a food “off-limits,” your brain starts treating it like it’s scarce. And scarcity makes you obsess, then eventually cave, then eat way more of it than if you’d just... had it.‼️‼️

That’s the actual mechanism behind every “unhealthy” thing on this list.

None of this is willpower. None of it is a rule I’m gritting my teeth through.

It’s just what actually works when you stop treating food like a test you can pass or fail.

This is the whole thing I built Fit in Four around. The PFF formula, not restriction, not rules, not counting.

More on that soon 👀
