I think the sneakiest part about getting older is we stop playing.

Moving for steps, or white-knuckling yourself through a workout, or stretching some because something aches.

Today we did our version of the Murph workout.

It’s become a Memorial Day tradition for us, and while the workout is physically challenging, the meaning behind it matters more.

Murph is named after Lt. Michael P. Murphy, who gave his life in service to our country.

He did this workout as one of his regular training sessions, and now it’s become a way for many people to honor his courage and sacrifice.

So today, we moved with gratitude and remembered the men and women who never came home.
