Joy for No Reason

I am filled with quiet joy for no reason save the fact that I am alive. I invite any and all to an event called a MEMORY MEAL hosted at the Callahan Senior Center on Tuesday evening, July 12th from 5:30-7:30 PM. Guests should bring a dish that reminds them of a deceased loved one, whether it is from a recipe their loved one passed on to them or a favorite dish they enjoyed together.

Participants will have the opportunity to gather with others in the community and share their story in regard to their dish and loved one. A ritual will begin this meal.

Registration is required by Wednesday, July 6 by calling 508-532-5880.

This celebration is facilitated by Judith Chaloux, a bereavement specialist, who provides grief and loss support to many in the Metro West area.
