Throughout August, our Portland Clinic took on the Dime Challenge to raise money for the American Cancer Society. Each staff member had a bottle to fill with dimes, and once it was full… they got an ice bucket dumped on their head! 🥶😂

Last night, David Sheer shared “Physical Therapy as Regenerative Medicine” with 20 NCMs, adjusters, and occupational health nurses during one of our in-person Dinner & Learns.

While the players make plays on the field, there’s a team on the sidelines making sure they’re ready for whatever the game brings.

Last Saturday, STAR Athletic Trainers Gary Beatty and Lauren Baes were on the sidelines with Battle Ground Academy as the Wildcats faced St. Michael’s Catholic in Fairhope, Alabama, in a game broadcast live on ESPN2.

Gary and Lauren were joined by Colin Looney, M.D., from the Bone and Joint Institute of Tennessee to care for the athletes and support the team throughout the game.

Our team had the opportunity to share more about STAR Physical Therapy, our culture, and the many ways we support clinician growth through mentorship, continuing education, and residency programs.

We always love connecting with future physical therapists as they prepare to enter the profession, and we appreciate the thoughtful questions and engaging conversations.
