“Feel the fear. Feel the grief. Feel the whole damn thing. Then let your heart take the wheel and do what your soul came here to do.

And if you feel resistance reading this, get curious. Is it asking you to slow down and listen—or is it the part of you that learned to stay small so you could stay safe?

You can honor what you feel and still take the next step.”

From me to anyone feeling pulled under by the weight of their own unmet expectations and grief and longing for a life lived differently. Trust me…you’re being harder on yourself than you deserve. What you deserve is a life in alignment with your greatest joy. If you don’t know what that is, get curious and try new things. If you know what it is and don’t know how to get there, just take one action step a day -whether it’s speaking about it, journaling or taking a class - stop thinking and start doing. People ask me all the time how I got to this place in my life. I literally went through hell multiple times and was determined each time to learn and grow from it. That doesn’t mean I avoid crying, screaming and swearing. I let myself be human 1000%. I just don’t unpack and live there. Even when I’m still feeling it all the other part of me that trusts a higher process decides to take a step out of emotional paralysis - even just a baby step - often that step is to start with being kinder to myself little by little. Even in the darkest days I knew the light was still on and waiting for me to see it again.

DO. NOT. GIVE IN or GIVE UP.

You are stronger than any bu****it story telling you you’re not good enough. If you don’t yet trust the deeper part of yourself that does already trust in a higher process, don’t force it. Just leave room for the possibility that that part of you knows something you don’t consciously know yet.

You can honor what you feel, have faith in what you cannot see, and still take the next step. Tell the “but” repeating itself in your mind as you read this to take a hike. There’s magical s**t to do, my friends.

Blessed autumn equinox, everyone.

Settling in and all set to cross the threshold from summer to fall....recognizing what has grown in me, setting down what no longer serves its purpose in my heart, life and soul....knowing and trusting that my inner our light, our collective light will illuminate the way through the darker, quieter months ahead.

As the season turns, I keep the light on.

Blessed, gentle autumn equinox, to you all. May we all remember that the light we seek is the light we all carry.
