What pieces of yourself are you reflecting today? 🌼✨

September is National Su***de Prevention Awareness month.

Let this be your reminder that talking about su***de does not increase the risk of su***de. In fact, it’s frequently the opposite. Being comfortable with acknowledging and talking about su***de has been shown to improve overall mental health outcomes and reduce the risk for suicidal ideation.

If you’re struggling to have that tough conversation, I’ve included some resources below that you or a loved one might find helpful:

⭐️988 Su***de & Crisis Lifeline:
- Call or text 988 for support from a licensed counselor
- Confidential & free
- Available all day, every day, regardless of holidays

⭐️Crisis Text Line
- Text HOME or HOLA to 741741 to connect to a licensed crisis counselor
- Free, confidential, and available 24/7

⭐️ HelpLine
- 800-950-NAMI (Mo-Fr, 10am-10pm)
- NOT a crisis line
- Free confidential peer support, community resource referrals, mental health information

You are seen.
You are valued.
I’m glad you’re here.

This is powerful. Sit with it if that feels safe for you. Take a deep breath, let go of your thoughts, release the tension in your forehead and shoulders. Unclench your jaw and drop your tongue from the roof of your mouth. Where do you feel this in your body?

Let this be your reminder that life can be unimaginably difficult and extraordinarily beautiful at the same time. Rather than labeling your day as “good” or “bad,” I wonder what it might be like to sit in the grey area? ✨

This is so dang cool!!

WE ARE EXCITED THAT WE HAVE HIRED Yasmeen Burnell, LCSW. By doing so we can now offer NADA acupuncture. If you are interested in scheduling an appointment with Yasmeen- please reach out!!!!!!

"I offer NADA acupuncture, a simple ear acupuncture practice used to support stress relief, emotional regulation, sleep, anxiety, trauma recovery, and overall nervous system balance. It’s gentle, grounding, and especially helpful for people whose minds never seem to shut off. Some clients use it as a reset button before or after therapy sessions, while others find it helps them finally exhale for the first time all week."
