The things we hold on to. The weight. The burden. The heaviness.
It could all be so simple.
So many of us are exhausted.
Not because life is asking too much of us.
Because we are fighting it.
Fighting what we know.
Fighting what we feel.
Fighting what has ended.
Fighting what refuses to begin.
Fighting change.
Fighting acceptance.
Fighting truth.
We grip tighter.
Push harder.
Overthink longer.
Carry more.
And then we wonder why we are tired.
The struggle becomes so familiar that we mistake it for living.
We convince ourselves that if we're wrestling with it, working on it, analyzing it, worrying about it, then somehow we're making progress.
But often, we're just carrying the same weight from one day to the next.
The same story.
The same fear.
The same resistance.
And it is heavy.
Heavy on the mind.
Heavy on the heart.
Heavy on the spirit.
Sometimes the weight isn't life.
Sometimes the weight is the constant battle against what already is.
Get out of yourself.
Move out of your own way.
Out of the endless arguments with reality.
Out of the need to force what isn't flowing.
Out of the need to hold together what is already falling apart.
Out of the need to chase what was never meant for you.
Out of the need to explain, justify, prove, and convince.
Just stop.
And listen.
What do you know?
Not what you fear.
Not what you hope.
Not what your wounded self keeps negotiating.
What do you know?
There is a profound peace in that answer.
Because truth is simple.
It doesn't require struggle.
It doesn't require force.
It doesn't require you to carry the weight of a thousand possible outcomes.
It simply asks to be accepted.
The path of least resistance is not the easy path.
It is the honest path.
The path where you stop fighting yourself.
Stop fighting life.
Stop fighting truth.
And when you do, something remarkable happens.
The weight begins to lift.
Your shoulders soften.
Your mind quiets.
Your breath deepens.
What felt impossible becomes manageable.
What felt heavy becomes lighter.
What felt complicated becomes clear.
You remember that peace was never something you had to earn.
It was waiting on the other side of resistance.
Life doesn't have to be this hard.
It doesn't have to be this heavy.
It could be light.
It could be simple.
It could be peaceful.
If only we would stop fighting what already knows the way.
It could all be so simple.
