24 hours before the trip and everything changed.

This couple was just 24 hours away from leaving for their anniversary trip to Hawaii when Hurricane Lowell had them rethinking their plans. Instead of splitting their time between Oahu and Maui, they decided to simplify things and stay entirely on Maui.

And they made that decision on their last day of work before vacation. 😳

That’s where having me in their corner made all the difference.

While they wrapped up work and got ready to leave, I was behind the scenes handling the details—adjusting arrangements, coordinating the changes, and making sure their trip still came together smoothly.

Because sometimes the luxury isn’t an upgraded room or a fancy amenity.

Sometimes it’s knowing someone else is handling the details when plans change.

They still got to head to Hawaii, celebrate their anniversary, and enjoy the trip they had been looking forward to—without spending their last day before vacation stressing over logistics.

That’s what I’m here for. ✈️🌴

Thank you so much for these kind words, Anne! ❤️ After so many years of not traveling by plane, you two were READY to get out and see the world—and I’m so happy Alaska was the perfect place to start!

It was such a joy helping you plan this special anniversary and birthday celebration, and even better knowing you’re already talking about where you’ll go next! That’s the best kind of review. 🥰

Here’s to many more adventures together! ✈️✨

The trip is booked. The itinerary is done. So…what happens now? ✈️

We wrap up the loose ends.

This morning’s pre-departure Google Meet was about one very important question: How are we getting from point A to point B?

They needed to pick up a rental car, and yes, it’s technically a 7-minute walk. 😆 We looked at a private transfer, considered the cost, talked through the logistics, and decided it simply wasn’t worth it.

And THAT is exactly why I love a pre-departure meeting.

It’s not always about solving a big problem. Sometimes it’s answering the little questions, talking through the “what ifs,” confirming the details, and making sure everyone feels confident before they leave home.

Because the goal isn’t just to plan your trip.

It’s to help you feel ready to enjoy it. 🤍

✨ What if the thing you’re obsessed with could be the spoke of your London trip?

For Elaine, it was Harry Potter. 🪄

When she visited London last fall, a visit to the Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter was one of the experiences built into her trip. And if you’re a Harry Potter fan, this is not just a quick photo op—it’s an entire experience, with original sets, costumes, props and behind-the-scenes magic from the films.

But here’s what I love about planning a trip to London:

Harry Potter doesn’t have to be the whole trip. It can be the starting point.

Your obsession might be Harry Potter.

Or it might be afternoon tea.
A West End show.
Royal history.
Art and museums.
Food and markets.
Premier League football.
Architecture.
British literature.
Or simply wandering through neighborhoods and discovering the city.

That’s the beauty of a destination like London. There are so many interests, personalities and passions that we can build the trip around you.

Because the best itineraries aren’t a checklist of famous places.

They’re the things that make you say, “I can’t believe we actually got to do that.”

And if Harry Potter happens to be your thing…well, I know exactly where your London adventure should begin. ⚡️

What are you obsessed with? Let’s plan your next trip around it!

5 things I never travel without ✈️

Are these groundbreaking packing tips? Nope. 😂
But they’re my necessities, and I don’t leave home without them.

📖 Something to read — A book, Kindle, or magazine. Give me something for the plane, the hotel room, or a slow morning.

🔋 Something to charge my devices — Because a dead phone while traveling is NOT the adventure I’m looking for.

🧴 Travel-size toiletries — My own favorites make any hotel bathroom feel a little more like home. And, yes, I toss them if they are empty or close to empty. It’s freeing!

🧶 An oversized sweater — Planes are cold. Restaurants can be cold. Evenings can be chilly. I want the cozy layer.

👟 Comfortable walking shoes — The prettiest shoes in the suitcase don’t matter if your feet are miserable by day two. And my feet don’t play with uncomfortable shoes!

Nothing fancy. Nothing revolutionary. Just the five things that make my travels more comfortable.

What’s one thing you consider absolutely essential when you travel?

49 travelers is not for the faint of heart. 😂

And that’s exactly how many people I have departing in September — heading all over the world and celebrating some pretty special moments along the way.

From the incredible trip we’ve created for Ouita Michel in Provence, to multiple honeymoons, anniversaries, and everything in between, September is shaping up to be one for the record books. ✈️🌎

And honestly? I don’t take any of it for granted.

To every repeat traveler who continues to trust me with your adventures, every new traveler who has put your vacation in my hands, and every person who has trusted me to turn a dream into a real-life experience — thank you.

It is such an honor to be a small part of these moments and to watch the trips we’ve dreamed up together become reality.

September, here we come. ❤️

Hawaii has been on repeat around here. 🌺 And with even more Hawaii adventures already on the books for 2027, I don’t think that’s changing anytime soon!

Molly’s family trip was such a great example of why I love planning multigenerational travel. More people, more preferences, more logistics, and often a few work realities to work around—but that doesn’t mean the trip itself should feel complicated.

For their Hawaii vacation, I planned time on Oahu and Maui, thoughtfully balancing their wish list, family needs, activities, sightseeing, timing, and all the little logistics that can make a trip feel overwhelming.

My job is to think through those details before you ever leave home, so once you’re there, you can simply enjoy being together.

Thank you, Molly, for taking the time to write such a thoughtful review. It means so much to know that your family’s Hawaii vacation was everything you hoped it would be—and more. 🤍

And if Hawaii travel planning is on your wish list—or you’re dreaming about a multigenerational trip somewhere else—let’s make it effortless, thoughtful, and unforgettable.

You bring the people. I’ll take care of the details. ✈️🌴

I know the price matters. It should.

But sometimes, when we’re planning a trip, we can get so focused on the individual pieces — the hotel rate, the transfer, the excursion, the flight — that we forget to step back and remember why we wanted to take the trip in the first place.

Because travel is emotional.

It’s the anniversary you’ve been looking forward to.
The family you finally get to gather together.
The milestone you want to celebrate.
The places you’ve dreamed about seeing.
The memories you hope you’ll bring home with you.

And yes, there’s a dollar amount attached to all of it.

But that dollar amount isn’t just paying for a hotel room or a transfer.

It’s paying for an experience thoughtfully crafted around you — one that flows well, minimizes the stress, gives you confidence in the details, and allows you to be present for the moments you traveled so far to experience.

That’s where I come in.

Because when you’re standing in the middle of the trees, it can be hard to see the whole forest. 🌲

I’m looking at the entire picture.

Not just what does this cost?
But what does this add to your experience?
What will make this trip feel easier?
What will give you more time to enjoy the people you’re with and the place you’ve dreamed about visiting?

My job isn’t to spend your money for you.

It’s to help you spend it with intention.

Because when you come home, I want you to remember the dinner you lingered over, the view that took your breath away, the laughter around the table, and the feeling of being exactly where you wanted to be.

That’s the forest.

And that’s what I’m helping you create. ✈️🤍

Today is a busy day of finalizing travel documents, making plans in my head for our Scotland trip in ’27, getting our first major group trip out the door to the south of France with Chef Ouita Michels, and so many other things happening behind the scenes.

And honestly?

Waking up excited to do what I do is a true blessing.

I never take that for granted. 🤍
