What if the life you say you want requires you to stop negotiating with the version of you that’s afraid?

Think about that.

What if the life you say you want requires you to stop…negotiating…with…the…version…of…you…that’s…afraid?

Because fear is really good at making a convincing argument.

What if you fail?
What if people judge you?
What if you’re not ready?
What if you make the wrong decision?

And before you know it, you’ve talked yourself right out of the thing you said you wanted.

What if I told you…
You don’t have to stop being afraid to move forward.
You just have to stop letting fear have the final say.
The version of you that’s afraid is trying to protect you.
But protection and progress don’t always look the same.

Sometimes becoming the next version of yourself means saying:
“I hear you. I’m scared too. And we’re doing it anyway.”
That’s self-leadership.
Not the absence of fear.
The decision to lead yourself through it.

Thoughts as fuel is just as important a concept as food as fuel.

Just like we need the appropriate nutrients to fuel our body’s gas tank, the thoughts we have in our mind work the same way.

When we focus on negativity, thoughts ridden with anxiety, disappointment, or even based in fear- we drain that energy has tank at rapid speeds.

When we drain our energy tank, we don’t have energy for anything else. Regular chores. Regular responsibilities. Or even prioritizing things like new hobbies, or reading a great book.

In the converse- if we fuel our mind with positive thoughts- thoughts that make us feel empowered, encouraged, capable, hopeful- our energy gas tank doesn’t deplete as quickly. As a matter of fact- some may say that it actually refills itself.

We can then take that gas- that fuel- and spend it intentionally on things we need to do or things we want to do.

I want you to take this concept with you this weekend and consciously evaluate what you spend your energy thinking about- and whether or not you can notice how those thoughts impact your overall motivation.

Remember- almost everything in our life is a choice. Including what you spend your time thinking about.

Happy restart, reset, refocus Friday! ⭐️

People ask me all the time, “How’s the business going?”

And if I’m being completely vulnerable… growing a business and building a brand is harder than I ever could have imagined.

It takes time.
So. Much. Time.
It takes commitment.
So. Much. Commitment.
And more than anything, it forces you to trust the unknown.

If I measured my business solely by profit margins, the truth is, by society’s standards, I’d probably be considered “failing.”

But I don’t measure my business that way.
I measure it by impact.

And when I look back at the last 18 months of building Rise & Shine, I feel incredibly proud.

My messages are being heard.
They’re resonating.
Strangers reach out to me in my DMs and tell me they’ve been following along for months. I see people share my content and tag their friends saying things like, “She is the best!”
Friends and family refer to my messages when we chat..

And that matters to me.

Because when I reflect on why I started Rise & Shine, I realize I’m doing exactly what I set out to do.

I’m sharing the importance of intention, accountability, and self-reflection when it comes to setting and achieving goals.

I’m talking about nervous system regulation, healthy habits, and the connection between how we care for ourselves and how fulfilled we feel in our lives.

So when someone asks me, “How’s your business going?”
My answer is:
Exactly the way it’s supposed to be going.

I’ve stayed true to myself.
I’ve stayed true to my purpose.
And I’m proud to say that I’m achieving the goals that mattered most to me when I started this journey.

Maybe the success isn’t always visible on a spreadsheet.
But I can feel it.

And I can see it in the people I’m reaching.
And that, to me, is success. ✨

If something I’ve shared has ever resonated with you, drop me a comment and let me know you’re out there. I’d love to know who’s on the other side of this little corner of the internet. 🤍

At some point, we have to stop blaming the circumstances and start asking ourselves a harder question:

What am I choosing to tolerate?

Not everything is your fault.

But your next move is your responsibility.

Read. That. Again.

The moment we stop waiting for someone else, something else, or a different set of circumstances to save us is the moment things begin to change.

So tell me- what’s one circumstance you’ve outgrown but haven’t left behind yet? 👇

Restart. Reset. Refocus. Friday ☀️

Today, let’s talk about asking for gifts from the universe—and being ready to receive them.

We all ask in different ways. We pray. We manifest. We meditate. We put our desires out into the world and trust that something greater is listening.

But here’s the question I want to ask you:

When you ask for the gifts… are you prepared to receive them?

When good things start showing up, do you remind yourself:
✨ I am worthy of this.
✨ I am deserving of this.
✨ I asked for this.
✨ I’ve done the work for this.

Or do you start questioning it?
Is this too good to be true? Why me? What’s the catch?

We get so conditioned to struggling that receiving feels uncomfortable.

So today, instead of questioning the goodness, allow yourself to receive it.

You asked.
You did the work.
You put goodness out into the world.
Now open your hands, open your heart, and receive. 💛

What if the gift you’ve been asking for is already on its way?

This message is for YOU. ✨

If you’ve been feeling stuck…
If you keep daydreaming about a version of yourself that you know is in there somewhere…
If you want something to change, but you’re not quite sure what needs to change or where to even begin…

Let’s talk.

I’m looking for 3️⃣ people who are ready to get curious about what’s next for them.

And I want to make this completely accessible:
✨ 3 FREE 30-minute sessions
✨ No obligation to continue working together
✨ No pressure. No pitch. Just space to pause, get honest, and get clear.

Together, we’ll explore:
→ What do you really want for yourself?
→ What’s been keeping you from getting there?
→ What do you actually need in order to move forward?
→ And what could your first steps look like?

Sometimes you don’t need more motivation.
You need someone to help you see yourself, your possibilities, and your next step a little more clearly.

This is your sign to stop daydreaming about that next version—and start becoming that next version. ☀️

I have 3 spots. If this is speaking to you, send me a DM or comment with the word “READY” and let’s connect.

08/17/2026

Three things give me the “ick” about the phrase, “I just don’t have time.”

1️⃣ “Time” is just a concept we use to measure our lives. It isn’t something that happens to us—it’s something we experience.

2️⃣ While we may not all have the exact same circumstances or amount of free “time” each day, we all have a choice in how we spend the “time”we do have.

Some people choose to spend their free time binge-watching Netflix. Others choose to exercise. Some choose to meal prep and be intentional about what they eat. Others choose convenience and grab fast food on the way home because it feels easier in the moment.

None of those choices are inherently right or wrong. But they are still choices.

That’s the #️⃣3️⃣ thing that gives me the “ick” about saying, “I just don’t have time.” Most of the time, what we really mean is, “I’m choosing to spend my time on something else.”

And that’s okay.
What isn’t okay is convincing ourselves we don’t have a choice. Because when we believe we have no choice, we give away our power.

Our priorities are reflected in how we spend our “time”. Once we own that, we stop making excuses and start making intentional decisions.

We all have choices. The question is: Are the choices you’re making today creating the life you actually want tomorrow?

08/10/2026

“I’ll start tomorrow.”

Or Monday.
Or next week.
Or after vacation.
Or when life settles down.

I’ve learned that “later” has a funny way of turning into never.

The perfect time doesn’t create momentum.

👏🏼 Action does. 👏🏼

You don’t have to overhaul your entire life today. You just have to take one small step that your future self will thank you for.

Because every day you wait is another day you’re reinforcing the habit of waiting.

So... what can you do today?
Even if it’s just for five minutes.
Your future self is being built by the choices you make right now. 💛

08/07/2026

Go outside.

Not to answer emails.
Not to scroll your phone.
Not to multitask.
Not even necessarily to accomplish anything.
Just… go outside.

Take a deep breath of fresh air and actually listen.
Listen to the birds.
The frogs.
The crickets.
The wind moving through the trees.
The leaves rustling.
The sounds you normally tune out because your brain is busy thinking about the next thing.

And for a few minutes, try to quiet your mind.
You can meditate.
You can sit quietly.
You can take a slow walk.
Or you can simply focus your attention on what is right in front of you.

Notice the colors.
The sounds.
The smells.
The warmth of the sun.
The movement around you.
Take it all in.

There is something incredibly grounding about stepping away from the noise of everyday life and reconnecting with the natural world.
It gives your brain a break.
It brings you back into your body.
It can shift your energy.
And sometimes, it reminds you that you don’t always need to do something to feel better.
Sometimes you just need to be.

And honestly? We only have so much summer left. Soak it in. 🌞🌿
Sit outside a little longer.
Take the walk.
Listen to the crickets.
Watch the sunset.
Put your phone down.
Breathe.
Let nature do what it has been doing all along:
Ground you. Restore you. Rejuvenate you.

Restart.
Reset.
Refocus.
Then go back into your day a little more present than you were before. ❤️

08/05/2026

Sitting here waiting for the people who are ready to face themselves….
To own what’s keeping them stuck….
And to become the person they’ve been telling themselves they’ll be “one day” to find my account and follow my page. ✌🏼
