What if the life you say you want requires you to stop negotiating with the version of you that’s afraid?
Think about that.
What if the life you say you want requires you to stop…negotiating…with…the…version…of…you…that’s…afraid?
Because fear is really good at making a convincing argument.
What if you fail?
What if people judge you?
What if you’re not ready?
What if you make the wrong decision?
And before you know it, you’ve talked yourself right out of the thing you said you wanted.
What if I told you…
You don’t have to stop being afraid to move forward.
You just have to stop letting fear have the final say.
The version of you that’s afraid is trying to protect you.
But protection and progress don’t always look the same.
Sometimes becoming the next version of yourself means saying:
“I hear you. I’m scared too. And we’re doing it anyway.”
That’s self-leadership.
Not the absence of fear.
The decision to lead yourself through it.
