Powerful story! Suffering can either bring us closer to God by deepening our relationship with him as we turn to the Lord for comfort and peace or drive us away if we allow the enemy’s lies to seep in and distort our perception of the truth that God loves us and is with us in our pain. The decision is ours. We can reject the lies and believe God’s Word choose to believe in His goodness despite the hardships, disappointments and evils of this world? Or believe the deception that God is not good, a lie that Satan has played since the very beginning? When we, like Scott Pelley, make the decision to accept the life we have been given, facing each day and each challenge with a grateful heart, thankful for God’s grace, goodness, mercy, and His divine plan that goes far beyond our human understanding? Or will we reject God’s plan, live in pride, rebellion, hatred, resentment, and anger towards Him? Today, let us decide… I choose God! I choose love! I choose to trust in what I cannot see or comprehend! After the fall, suffering became a part of life while we are here on this earth. We all have something in our lives that is causing pain and suffering, whether it is physical, mental, emotional or spiritual. Many may hide behind perfect images they present. But then there are also many that stand on what they know, GOD IS GOOD EVEN WHEN THIS WORLD IS NOT! What will you stand on??? Let it be the Rock Solid Foundation of The LORD God Almighty, His Son Jesus Christ and power and comfort of the The Holy Spirit, our Helper!!!!!!
