What a year:)
This time last year I was 1 week Post Op from a bimalleolar fracture repair. I didn’t love running then but I did enjoy the occasional run around the LSU Lakes with my Husband . I thought this injury would prevent me from running, heavy leg days and honestly a lot of things. Today I am in the best shape of my life, completed the Tiger 10k 1:10:19 with a 25lb weight vest because I could! I share this as a testimony that with mindful recovery a lot is possible!

Broke a personal record. May not be super fast. But I ran the whole thing! Bob Marley in my ears and the sun shining!

Beautiful weather! Missed being able to run with you!!! Honestly didn’t think I’d be able to run again after shattering my ankle a year ago this week! But here we are. And setting a Personal best.
