On World Mental Health Day, we’re reminded that mental health is part of our overall well-being.
At the Kacmarcik Center for Human Performance, well-being is a top priority. Our classes and programs reflect many dimensions of well-being, recognizing that feeling your best means caring for the whole person – mind, body, spirit, relationships, purpose, and more.
This year’s World Mental Health Day theme, “Lived experiences heard: real voices, real change,” highlights the importance of listening to and learning from people – our teammates, our families, our friends, our neighbors – as we work toward a more compassionate community.
We encourage you to: Check in with yourself. Check in with someone you care about. Make space for real conversations. And remember that asking for support is a sign of strength.
Mental health is health. And well-being is something we can nurture together.
