Kelly is absolutely killing it! She is a business owner, a mother of 2, and just straight busy! Check out her business .driven.adventures! Below is her exact post! You should follow her! She is such an amazing inspiration!!
This is a really vulnerable post for me because I’ve never been good at talking about my accomplishments or putting myself out there like this… but I also know there are probably other moms struggling the same way I was.
Being a moto mom means everyone else usually comes first.
The kids. The races. The family. The business. The chaos. The late nights. The stress. Somewhere along the way between pregnancies, depression, emotional eating, and just trying to survive life, I stopped taking care of myself.
Food became comfort.
And trust me… I tried ALL the diets over the years. Nothing ever seemed to stick.
Finally one day I looked in the mirror and said enough is enough. I decided it was time to put myself first for once and take control of my health again.
With the help of semaglutide, I’ve been able to cut back on sweets, eat less, build healthier habits, and finally start feeling like ME again.
And let’s be honest… I still hate working out. 😂
But now I actually enjoy going on bike rides with my kids, keeping up with their activities, and taking walks with my dog Gypsy. I’m not quite comfortable in a swimsuit yet… but I’m getting there.
Today I’m down over 55 pounds and still going. I still have room for improvement, but I already feel so much better in my clothes, have more energy, less joint pain, and I’m becoming more active doing the things I love with my family.
I couldn’t have done this journey alone. Thank you to Clarita Higgy for motivating me to be the best me and reminding me to put myself first, Amber Clemons for encouraging and informing me throughout this process, Lewis Baker for loving me through every season of life, and Janelle Johnson with ElevateRx MedSpa for being part of this journey too.
This journey isn’t about being perfect. It’s about becoming healthier, happier, and stronger one day at a time.
