I am an occupational therapist.
But if you’ve followed me for any length of time, you know that’s not the whole story.
I am also a mom.
A mom who has sat in IEP meetings with a knot in her stomach. A mom who has worried about how her child would navigate the world when she wasn’t there to explain his needs. A mom who has celebrated milestones that other people might overlook and learned that progress isn’t always linear—but it is always meaningful.
That experience changed the way I practice.
At Moon Pediatric Therapy & Consulting, I don’t just look at what a child can’t do. I look at who they are, what matters to them, and how we can build skills that create more independence, confidence, and joy in everyday life.
I support children with:
• Autism and neurodivergence
• Sensory processing differences
• Emotional regulation and coping skills
• Daily living skills and independence
• Executive functioning and routines
• School participation and community engagement
• Family coaching and practical strategies that work in real life
My goal isn’t to make children fit into the world exactly as it is.
My goal is to help children understand themselves, build on their strengths, and develop the tools they need to participate in the things that matter most to them.
Because therapy shouldn’t stop at the clinic door.
It should help families navigate grocery stores, vacations, friendships, school mornings, haircuts, waiting rooms, restaurants, and all of the beautifully messy moments that make up real life.
As both a therapist and a parent, I know how heavy the uncertainty can feel.
I also know how powerful it is when someone walks alongside you and says:
“I see your child. I see your family. And we’ll figure this out together.”
That’s what Moon Pediatric Therapy & Consulting is all about. 🌙
💚 Helping children build confidence, independence, and meaningful participation in everyday life.
