As with success in any field, the effort, energy, and dedication put in behind the scenes are often overlooked.
Most people notice the candles and hear the first note, but the sound bath actually starts hours before the doors open. It begins with the initial intention for each session, as we load the heavy cases , followed by the quiet intention of the drive.
Setting the stage is its own form of meditation. The scent of the diffuser, the perfect lighting—-it takes time and effort to curate stillness. We travel, we lift, we arrange, and we hold the space…so that for one hour, you don’t have to do anything all all.
Then come the instruments. These arent’ just tools; they’re extensions of energy. Unpacking the crystal, the metal, the wind, and the wood. Every bowl has a home, and every flower is placed to remind us that beauty is a vital part of healing.
Each mat is laid with a wish for comfort. Each blanket is smoothed out to hold someone’s weight while they let go. It’s about building a physical container for an emotional experience. The room is read…. Now we begin.
