As temperatures rise, it’s important to recognize early signs of heat-related illness before they become serious. ☀️

Watch for: Heavy sweating, dizziness, headache, nausea, or muscle cramps. These can be signs of heat exhaustion.

Don’t wait if you experience: confusion, fainting, or trouble breathing. These may be signs of heat stroke.

What to do: Move to a cool place, sip water, and rest. If symptoms worsen or don’t improve, seek emergency care right away.

During this National CPR & Awareness Week, we encourage everyone to become more aware of lifesaving tools around you.

AEDs (Automated External Defibrillators) are safe, simple to use, and designed for anyone.

If someone experiences sudden cardiac arrest, call 911 right away, begin CPR, and have someone nearby locate an AED as quickly as possible. The AED will provide clear, step-by-step instructions the help guide you through what to do.

This week, take time to notice where AEDs are located in the places you visit. It could save someone’s life.

In recognition of National CPR & Awareness Week (June 1-7), we want to remind our community just how simple and powerful this skill can be.

Hands-only CPR is easy to remember:

• Push hard and fast in the center of the chest
• Keep a steady rhythm (100-120 beats per minute)

Every minute without CPR reduces survival, so starting right away is critical. You don’t have to be perfect, you just have to take action. Our emergency team will take over as soon as we arrive.

Take time this week to learn or refresh your CPR skills and share this information with someone you care about.
