💧🌱☀️Food for your water body! This will continue to evolve as I dive deeper into my Quantum Diet book from .dietitian and fuse it with my nature-based Ayurvedic background (and my Midwest roots)!
I will be sharing more recipes here that feed your light body and tend your inner terrain beyond the basic macros and micros we know. But, they also overlap!
✨In general, whatever you are currently digesting, add more food with more life force… as close to harvest from good soil as possible. As local as possible. As close to its natural make up as possible aka non-genetically modified and bioengineered. The quicker it rots, the easier it is for your body to digest… the more real it is!!! The more natural it is, the easier it is for the body to understand, read, and receive the molecular language = better digestion, absorption, and assimilation by your body.
Life-force filled food is also the diet of Blue Zones - where longevity is natural and the standard.
Here’s a very modifiable (add meat, add nuts, add legumes, swap or omit) fresh and glow salad - meaning, filled with light and definitely heavy on the satisfying! Perfect for brunch or lunch.
Nectarines On The Greens
🥬 Tip 1- Keep your chosen leafy greens separate if you want leftovers. 😭I know from this morning’s disappointment!
Tip 2: Those leafy greens are 1/2-2/3 of your dish!
🍑Nectarines are IN season!!! Juicy and full of structured hydration - I used two!
🧅RED onion- I used about 1/2 cup
🫛There is no asparagus emoji😭 which I used a whole bundle of… but sugar snap peas work,too!!
🥚Hard boiled eggs from my friend’s urban hens in her MKE backyard(TY Hope🤗!)
🥑Sliced and served on the side per dish
🧂Always P. Himalayan diamonds for me and fresh cracked pepper to taste
🌿Sauce this time was a hack: a fancy Italian basil pesto paste- but fresh would be even better!!
Chop everything up like a domestic ninja ( is my hero!!), toss with pesto, dress with shredded parm and serve!
So FRESH. So Quick. So modifiable. So COLORFUL!!! Loaded with hydration, nutrition, antioxidants, immune boosters, and enough protein and healthy fat to fulfill your body and life’s demands! 🤗 #😘
