Does it feel like your baby is attached to your breast all day long? Take a deep breath mama, it’s likely very normal❤️
For many newborns, frequent feeding is not a sign that something is wrong. Breastmilk is digested quickly—which means frequent feeding is exactly what we would expect from a healthy, normal infant.
There’s probably nothing wrong with your milk. There’s probably nothing wrong with your baby.Your body is not failing.
Your baby is doing exactly what they were biologically designed to do.
🧠Every time your baby nurses, they communicte with your milk making hormones to produce exactly how much milk they want. Frequent feeding isn’t a problem to fix—it’s one of the ways nature establishes and protects your baby’s milk supply (notice how I called it baby’s supply...not your supply?😉)
In a world that often expects babies to fit into schedules, it can be easy to wonder if you’re doing something wrong. But sometimes the answer is much simpler:
Your baby is hungry.Your body responds.Your baby grows.
Trust the process. Trust your baby. Trust your body. 🌿
