Today we’re celebrating someone who has held a special place in our hearts from the very beginning. Troy was one of the very first residents to call Golden Oaks home, and over the years he has truly become family.

Troy is one of the kindest souls you’ll ever meet. He’s always ready to listen, offer encouragement, and lend a helping hand whenever he can. His positive spirit has made him a true staple here at Golden Oaks.

When Troy first came to us, he could barely walk or even sit comfortably in a recliner. Through determination, hard work, and incredible resilience, he has made amazing progress. Today, he proudly walks short distances every single day—a testament to his strength and perseverance.

Troy, we are so proud of you and so grateful to celebrate another year by your side. Thank you for the joy, kindness, and inspiration you bring to our home each day.

From early mornings to late nights, our CNAs/Caregivers are the smiling faces, helping hands, and compassionate hearts that make Golden Oaks feel like home. ❤️
