Grateful. 🌕💜
Last weekend’s Oakhaven retreat began on International Self-Care Day and ended with the new moon of Guru Purnima, a time to honor the teachers and lineages that have guided us along the path of yoga.

I am deeply grateful for my teachers, for the opportunity to collaborate with area teachers, and for each person who arrived to the practice circle - at this retreat and in all life Fit offerings. One of the greatest lessons I first learned is that our students are our teachers. Thank you for showing up with open hearts, curiosity, and a willingness to practice. Together we created a weekend of connection, learning, laughter, and renewal. As we carry that spirit into a new season, I’d love to continue practicing with you.

Yoga Nidra and a Sound Bath every day at Oakhaven! So grateful that Amy Whitfield will provide the sound healing on Saturday! Amy is a local Yoga Teacher, passionate about Yoga and the tools the practice provides for mental and physical wellbeing. She also received certification from the Christina Phipps Foundation in 2019, focusing on caring for breast health and recovery after breast cancer, completed Reiki level II certification, and sound healing certification with Veda Spidle. “I love seeing movement as medicine and spending time in nature.” Welcome Amy to the Life Fit Kula!
