Since 1965, our physicians and staff have worked together to build a reputation of excellence in patient care. Physicians East offers primary care services in convenient offices throughout Pitt County. Subspecialty physician services are provided through our Quadrangle division and at various outreach clinics in eastern NC. Obstetrical and gynecological care is offered through our Greenville OB/GYN division. We also operate the Physicians East Urgent Care Center and an ambulatory endoscopy facility - the Quadrangle Endoscopy Center. 💗 Meet Caroline!

Hi, I’m Caroline, a Mammography Technologist at Physicians East Farmville, where I’ve been part of the team for the past 14 years!

I knew from a young age that I wanted to work in X-ray, and mammography was always the goal. Mammography is especially personal to me because my maternal grandmother passed away from breast cancer in her 50s. Her story has always stayed with me and is a big part of why I’m so passionate about encouraging women to prioritize their mammograms and take care of their breast health. If I can help educate someone, ease a little anxiety, or encourage someone to get that screening they’ve been putting off, then I feel like I’m making a difference.

Outside of work, I’m a proud wife to my husband, Michael, and mom to Maddie. I love the beach, Disney, spending time with family and friends, and watching my daughter compete with her dance and tumble teams. I can usually be found with a Diet Coke in hand!

Meet Tori!

Hi! I’m Tori, Lead Mammographer at Physicians East. It’s a job that means so much to me, not only because of the care we provide, but because of the lives we may help protect through early detection.

Breast cancer is very personal to me. I know many people who have been diagnosed, including someone very close to my heart who received their diagnosis in 2022, and I am happy to say she is doing great today. ❤️ Experiences like these are a powerful reminder that breast cancer affects real people, real families, and people we love. They reinforce why I believe so strongly in the importance of routine mammograms and early detection.

As a mammographer, I know that a mammogram can bring anxiety or fear for some women. I try to make the experience as comfortable as possible, and I love using my sense of humor to help my patients relax and laugh along the way! 😁

When I’m not at work, I enjoy painting and being outside. And the thing that makes me the happiest is when all my family can gather together.

During Breast Cancer Awareness Month, I encourage every woman to prioritize her breast health and stay up to date with recommended screenings. 🎀

Hi! I’m Makayla, and I’ve been a Mammographer for 4 years. I’ve been part of the Physicians East team for almost 2 years, and I love being able to play a role in women’s breast health and the early detection of breast cancer. 🩷

Breast Cancer Awareness Month is a great reminder of just how important routine mammograms and early detection can be.
